Bi or not bi?

I have just had a very abusive message from a guy. He sent me a message and I had a look at his profile as you do.

He is down as straight but wanting to meet TV's amongst others. All his veris were from TV's so I just said sorry I dont meet bi guys. He replied that he wasnt bi,and when I pointed out his veris he got very abusive.

Am I wrong in assuming he is bi?

And yes I did report him.

Well, I don’t want to be annoying and controversial, more philosophical I guess... but I guess how he defines his sexuality is up to him. Maybe he is hiding a “bi” side within the cupboard, or maybe he gets that desperate for a fuck he shags a TV (no offence to TVs, they’re hot).

Throwing abuse at you is never right but maybe he feels deeply ashamed by his choices? Maybe he isn’t intelligent enough to convey those emotions so they bottle up and come out at the wrong time when confronted by his choices?

I would say that his sexual choices may seem bisexual to you but not to him.

In our book he is indeed very very bi which isn’t a problem of course as anybody can be whatever they like and I would die defending their right to be whatever they like but why lie about it?????

As a tv (simply a guy in a dress) if he is meeting and playing with TV's then yeah, I'd mark him down as bi.

Very different from playing with TS as to most people they are women who might not have had ful reassignment surgery yet.

Anyway he was a dick for getting abusive regardless.

I don't think it comes down to you questioning his sexuality as much as you rejecting him that caused his angst OP - I'll lay money that had you accepted his approaches and then queried why he identifies as straight when (no offence to any TV's intended - I'm oversimplifying things to highlight a point) he meets and has sex with men in dresses, that he'd have answered perfectly reasonably.

There's no need for abuse regardless of how he identifies though and you did the right thing

Indeed, it's hardly surprising that men lie about being bi when women will discriminate against them, regardless if the fact that it would have no bearing at all on a meeting between a man and a woman.
