Thoughts on this?
Usually I see lots of profiles full of little other than penis pictures!
I know I’m not the only one noticing this I see a lot of comments to that effect on here.
The only reason I bring this up is because I came across one last night (while having a pretty good laugh with a guy) and despite not looking for single males (especially not straight ones) I couldn’t help but think this guy has got it right!
Ladies looking for straight single males.... what are your thoughts? What’s makes a good profile that attracts your attention?
Sorry it’s the Mrs here, I’m usually looking for girl or couple profiles so curious as to how the guys ever get your attention (when a lot of them behave like muppets!)

It’s rare I read a guys profile because profiles are all samey. I go on the style and look of their photos . If I’m browsing and they have no photos I move on. If they had face photos where I think that guys hot I will message. If they have no face photos but I can see glimpses of parts of their face and the photos are imaginative I will take a chance. I just personally think ones of just dicks show lack of imagination and lack of respect for a potential meet |

You’re right. I definitely didn’t intend it to sound like it was just guys. But it was guys I was assessing mainly because A. I think there’s more of them. B. They do get a lot of shit on here and C. I wondered from a straight woman point of view how hard it is to find a guy on here |

The thing is we're all different and all like different things - so all you can do as a profile owner is present the best possible image of yourself for you and if people like it then great, if they don't then no big deal.
One of the biggest problems on here is that people think they have to be all things to all people, when the reality is they will probably only appeal to a very small minority of people.
Personally my profile is written and presented in a way I am happy with for me - if that then appeals to others then all's good.
Obviously there are some profiles that limit their chances because they are minimal or generic and it's more pertinent for men than women because of the number imbalance - but if someone genuinely thinks they are presenting themselves in the best possible way for them, that is all that matters really |

It's backwards isn't it? They women are, tbh, the assets here, so couples should be trying to prove the men are worth a go too. It's very unlikely for the woman to not be good enough if the man is.
So as the asset, isn't it the women picking the couples they'll go with, and therefore should demand all the evidence that the guy is ok? |

Haha yes it’s definitely not just guys. I can say I’m not a fan of lots of foof pictures either. I like to see face pics although I know not many folk are comfortable sharing those publicly. As I’m not either. Who knows what your aunt and uncle might get up to. No one wants to cross paths! Haha. But a glimpse of a cheeky smile or eye glint you can’t beat. |

My own profiles a bit crap these days though.
Although I think it goes through phases of:
Nice and pleasant
Angry and exclusive
Medioca
I see a lot of updates with some aggressive “we do not want....” “fuck off if you are......”
You can sort of see people’s negative experiences have shaped their profile content. |

To be honest I think a lot of single men on here take their cue from women's profiles. They hardly look at other men's profiles and try to create the male equivalent of the profiles they've seen. Hence the cock, bum and chest pictures.  |

I definitely did not say cock pics are bad. Also didn’t say it’s unique to men, also didn’t say women are faultless and you should bow down and worship.
I was just asking people of differing persuasions and preferences what their thoughts were and how they filter who they like from some of the muppets. You guys get a bad press thanks to said muppets.

It's a stark reality of Fab - as I alluded to in my earlier post, because of the number of men here that will message a profile labelled as a female one regardless of whether it has pics or text women can go for the minimalist approach, or the ranty one and still find what they are looking for.
Personally I have no particular preference regardless of the gender/category the profile sits in preferring to take my time and get to know people BUT deciding to do so has to come from something that appeals to me first, which might be the profile but could just as easily be their forum presence and interaction. |
