No doubt about it, but it helps confirm they weren't quality people in the first place, so it's a bit of a win ultimately, though totally uncalled for on their part - just lacks class! It can work both ways though as I got a really rude reply to a message I sent recently. Wasn't the first time it's happened (though rare) but I got a reply from a single woman saying "What were you thinking of messaging me!! You're not even close to being in my league". It takes all sorts on here! Never dull! |

It's amusing reading verifications saying what a gentlemen they are, when they've just sent a message calling me a fat ugly slag |

This is mostly our experience too. Had a straight guy message us tgis week, clearly states on profile we only chat/meet bi guys. And he said that he hoped that Kinky M died of aids, so that was a little overwhelming.. |

A deeply unpleasant thing to say, confirming their status on the social scale rather than yours! Narrows the market nicely one idiot at a time! |

Yeah, its crazy how many people turn nasty as soon as you say no. I've had it on other sites ('cos as we all know on here, I'm a single straight guy so never get any messages ) - I had one a while ago from someone who, being polite, was not attractive, and also from Wales. Nothing against Wales, but it's just a tad far away! So, although I had zero interest even if she'd lived next door, I replied and said "Sorry, Wales is a bit far away" and she answered "Fine, you're ugly anyway, dunno why I even bothered"
My usual response is report and block, and be thankful it ended there, as it shows that they're the kinda person who is probably forever surrounded in drama and aggro |

I say "nice but not for me", then don't enter into any more conversation.
I've been here nearly three years, get hundreds of messages a week, and think I've only had 10 or less rude replies in all that time.
I very very rarely need to block either.
Works for me

Either string them along with excuses if you can be bothered, they will soon get fed up. Or don't bother answering.
I used to be really nice and answer every message politely. I'm not as nice nowadays. |

I remember getting a lovely 'no' from you a couple of years ago - was so well written that I actually felt quite good after! Doesn't get much better than that! |

I’d say take it as a compliment, you’re a gorgeous tv so they’re definitely gutted they’re missing out but just do as you’re doing and block. I simply don’t reply, especially if the message is shit and no pic send. If they’ve made an effort but I don’t fancy them, I usually just say no thanks but thanks. When they keep messaging giving abuse, you’re just glad You didn’t consider them! |

There's really no need for rudeness, I'm uncertain on day's/times when I can meet due to my home life, if anyone has been rude to me (I guess about 5 since I've been here) I reply with a witty retort and then block, I know it's not professional but it makes me feel better, but on the whole most Op here are great and understanding. |

I continue to get message from males firstly saying “Nice Cock” or something along those lines, if I don’t reply or even if I do reply it’s always want it sucking!
I have mentioned in my status “men who identify as men please don’t message me sexually”
Makes no difference it gets highly annoying to the point I’m very tempted to just block males all together which would be a shame coz I have met some genuine men on here who just chat like normal people... |

Dammed if you damned if u don't! I reply and get abuse "fat birds should take what they are offered" and if I ignore I get bombarded calling me names for being ignorant.
I accept I'm not everyone's type, they should accept this too... Especially when you KNOW they are sending the same "personalised" messages to everyone |

Sadly manners these days don’t count for anything. If I get a reply declining then I actually think more of the person than simply getting blocked or ignored.
Just a simple “thanks but not for me” is sufficient. Why block someone I don’t get!! Maybe I’m old fashioned?? Xx |

We have now just started ignoring. We tried the please refer to our profile and the no thanks thing but would get the abuse telling us were time wasters and we shouldn't be here.... obviously coming from men with no veris.
So now we just ignore the majority |

Ireply to virtually all my messages and am not really a blocker, maybe it's how people say no thanks but I don't tend to get abuse back! I do hide my profile though when I don't have the time or the inclination makes it much easier |

Wow well that’s just a whole new level of low!
One said you’ve got all these veris (a lot are from socials) and you won’t meet me but they went proper into numbers & got very insulting. To be fair just proved my point that I didn’t like the look of them |

You have two options:
1. Block
2. Change the human nature of all entitled pricks before they contact you.
I suggest you go for whichever one you find easiest. |

I really do not understand this behaviour, I'm sure being rude = no meets so why bother being on this site. As some folk have already said, they hide behind a keyboard so must be fake and shallow.
It ruins it for the genuine guys on this site. |

Whatever the reply, even if you coated it in sugar spice and everything nice, if you rejected them they can get nasty.
I had one this morning that decided to respond with.... after seeing the people I have met I rejected him when he’s so much better than them and then hurled a bit more abuse. That is exactly the behaviour that didn’t make him better than them |

It has nothing to do with manners. Funny I've yet to ever hear someone say "Yes, I was offended the slag turned me down and told her so!"
Everyone is sooo polite, thankful and respectful to all, and all the people posting about the abuse they get are liars right?!!
I honestly don't understand why people get so bent out of shape because someone THEY want to fuck has absolutely no interest in them.
There's a limit to the amount of messages you can send: why waste them on the people you're NOT interested in?
Entitled much! |

Yep, that's what I do. I thank them for taking the trouble to reply and wish them well. If nothing else it leaves a good impression of me as a real man and hopefully a good one with a bit of class. It did actually benefit me once as I was getting on well with a single lady and once we felt like we were chatting comfortably I light-heartedly told her she'd already rejected me previously on here. She took a look at her block list and sure enough there I was and remembered me and that I'd sent a nice message, which was lovely. We still didn't play but we always stop and say hi and have a catch-up if we see each other, which is always good. |

Some people can't take rejection. If I get a no thank you. I simply say thank you for your polite reply . I then put a note on to their account that they're not interested and don't pester them again. |

I think we've been lucky so far- if we get messages from individuals that we don't think are for us it's usually from those that haven't read our profile.
We say thanks but you haven't read our profile - most come back & apologise
Most of our blocks are because they've sent really gross first messages
We do point out in our profile no is a no to whatever we want to say no to.
Block them, move on - they are not deserving of any amount of your time. Manners cost nothing |

Oh dear. As previous posters have said, once messages becomes abusive simply disregard their sender and message back with;
"That is a tremendous shame, as I was really looking forward to exchanging pointless messages with someone who blatantly isn't my type. However, in the spirit of good discourse that makes one think I shall leave you a puzzle delivered in the style of the late great Bob Holness; What 'B' can be done with a goal-bound shot and rhymes with 'Jumped up irritating little cock'? If you need a clue then click on my profile..."
Then make that 'clue' all too apparent!
