We’ve just worked through a fair number of messages that have been sent over the last week or so. We don’t get hundreds since we’re in our more mature years but still get a high percentage off the younger men, typically 22-28 age group.
Is it us being old or are we missing something? Out of five that have sent us private photos, three show a mainly naked young man but with their V’s up (two fingers). Now I know that in some countries it’s similar to a friendly wave but here, in the UK, it obviously means f*** off! We normally read the profiles etc as you never know but these get an instant delete.

"Below 30 just get an instant delete and block.
As you will see from our other comments in threads, they aren’t on the right page for us. "
I see your point but we don’t automatically assume the young lads are all the same but lately it does appear to be so. We've spoke to some at clubs and found them mainly to be polite and friendly. Never had then put their fingers up at us |

We will only meet with younger guys, and we too have seen these type of photo's. Unfortunately the senders meaning is clearly lost on us, as we see it for the insult it has been considered for hundreds of years.
Maybe we have missed out on a good meet or two over the years because of it, but if someone wants to tell me to f\/[k off in their opening message then who are we to disagree |
