Initially a BDSM term meaning ‘not into the lifestyle’…. later adopted by swingers to mean (surprise surprise) ‘not into the lifestyle’.
Now you just have to workout what ‘the lifestyle’ means.
I’m a traditionalist… swinging means a couple who invite others to share some of the sexual part of their relationship.

"Ok please someone tell us what vanilla means searched the posts cant find what it means... Any help "
To me it's just kink free sex, so no BDSM type fun...although I guess some will see swinging as being a kink! x |

"surely you can be a vanilla swinger?
vanilla just means conventional sex"
No great disrespect but i think one one has engaged into a swap situation or involved a 3rd person the word conventional has disappeared
Time and convention are strange of course , x years ago of course vanilla was an exotic spice however with time vanilla lost its lush spice status and became associated not with the spice but by being with bland non flavoured ice cream
If i hear vanilla mentioned , i take it to simply mean unadventurous, bit bland however understanding that it has many meanings by many differing people
