Hi all,

Are there any genuine naturists from London on here? I'm keen to join Young British Naturists but don't quite know where to start.

Anyone on here go to any of the genuine naturist clubs?

Suffolk - East Anglia

Hi OP.

It's great that you wish to take up naturism. It's a great way to relax and join really nice company.

As you're in London we recommend that you look at The Naturist Foundation just outside London by Swanley and Orpington. The site is huge and really nice. They have members from all over the area and the facilities are superb.

The Naturist Foundation can be found on the internet. They will give you a friendly welcome.

It depends what you want to do for your first time. There are a couple of camp sites in the south, including the ones that the guys have mentioned above, as well as Heritage family naturist club, that's also pretty good. BN is also a good place to start, as they often organise days out and nude swims all over the country!

Peterborough

There are two options for you in St Albans. Spielplatz (never been) and Five Acres (day visit once), £17.00 for a day visit. Leave by 6pm, is the typical time to pack up and go.

BN has a great list of clubs and beaches. Most clubs are very family friendly.

So depending on what facilities, you want and need, will determine what club is best for you.

Being a single guy in the naturist scene, is the same as the swinging scene...couples and females will always get easier invites/membership. Apply in February, as this is when they plan for the warmer months.

As for Eurekas, it is a swingers' club. However, it has plenty of outdoor space and that heated swimming pool is always the place to be when the sun comes out.

Do your research and decide on which is better for you. Do this now in the cooler months and you won't be wasting the warmer days thinking of where to go.

Google Earth is really useful for seeing how big their grounds are.

Try 3 or 4 clubs/beaches in the spring and that will give you the best idea of what to expect.
