Bass Bins under the bed...

Anyone tried, or has installed bass speakers under their bed?

It's a lush, all body listening experience bordering on erotic, program dependant obviously!

I'm very interested in this technology.

I read somewhere that the resonant frequency of the clitoris is around 33hz.

It's not high tech by any means, just put a bass bin or sub under your bed... one would need decent sized speaker to amplify 33hz.

But sadly that's not how resonant frequencies work...the object itself oscillates upon being surrounded by the resonant frequency, therefore the affected clitoris would in effect vibrate at a higher frequency, somewhere harmonically relevent if course but way higher than 33hz. Probably closer to the tone of an actual vibrator, rather than a tractor or tuned motorbike idling.

Experiments with a bass guitar have confirmed that the higher frequencies got better results, but there's two things; the note and how often it's played...but that's music!

I recall giving a friend of mine a lift home on the back of my motorbike a few years back. Out of mischief, I held the rpm just below 2K for a while. Before long, I felt her gripping my waist tightly and her knees trembling and squeezing against me repeatedly. I kept the rpm at that rate for as long and often as I could by careful selection of gear/speed. By the time I dropped her off, half an hour later, she could barely speak or walk.

Yeah, the bonnie resonates just around 2K and 3.5K.

Just a plain old sine wave should do the trick, will have no harmonics at just 35hz

Is this why I get more attention when playing bass?

Conceded! The effect of the speakers is more just MORE Bass, not really one frequency...and it's meant to be enjoyed universally...

The Bass Guitar bit is true tho, and was a mutually beneficial experiment entirely satisfying a real life female (one that I touched and EVERYTHING )

OP it is very coincidental that your handle matches the profile topic quite nicely.

Interesting. I've been offered a Carlsbro 50W bass amp/speaker which I now fancy hooking up to my phone running a frequency generator app.

Do you reckon it'll do the trick?

Not under the bed, but I used to run 5000 watt rms through a 45kg subwoofer on my car

That vibrated everything within 200m

We did this at university. Our neighbour played shit music really loudly and refused to turn it down. So my friend who was doing a sound engineering degree rigged up some slayer to play all night at an unpleasing frequency.

He never did it again

Yup, will probably sound horrible, but it'll work...

Okay. Is there a way of making a sound that doesn't sound horrid whilst still being able to fine tune the frequency?

Also, do you reckon a sub-woofer be a workable substitute for a bass bin?

They're the same thing, they'll work the same. Plug in a tone generator and done. A little subwoofer would be easier to position, whereas a larger bass bin would be easier to position around...

Aha, of course.

Well, I'm thinking that it could be positioned below the crotch of a captive (held by wrists, ankles and neck) in my kneeling-stockade, presumably pointing upwards, to complement other 'toying' etc.
