Why? The two things are totally unrelated.

Just wondering why it's more socially acceptable for a woman to be bi than a guy really

There and to the left a bit

"Why do a lot of women find bi guys who meet ts tvs a turn off but admit to being bi themselves seems a little strange to me"

How are the two things at all connected?

A bisexual woman is interested in other women which has nothing to do with their interest, or not, in guys who meet guys/TVs - they're two entirely separate things

Just wondering what people's thoughts are really sort of a social experiment

Well that's a totally different question altogether and comes down to numerous things, one being the idea of two women together being prime fantasy wank fodder for a lot of men - whereas two men together isn't.

Let's not forget that until relatively recently two men having sex was an illegal act, I don't believe it ever has been for two women, so that probably plays into it also.

Good point didn't really think of it that way

You’d think they’d be a bit more open minded but I think we all know the LGBT community isn’t always as inclusive as we’d like it to be. Personally, I love bi guys and I do have sex with men who have sex with men/ts/tv as It doesn’t bother me but I am more concerned about whether they’re having sex safe than I am with straight men. At the end of the day, it’s a fact that gay sex is a higher risk of HIV. It doesn’t bother me as long as everyone is protecting themselves but some people are put off by that as well.

That's a good honest answer that I respect. However one should never be complacent just because a guys profile SAYS he is straight. Where sexual health is concerned I think its wise to gently grill every potential new partner.

With some its the promiscuity of bi males and the blasé attitude to safe sex that goes on. Lets be honest it can be off-putting to people who value their sexual health.

Some of the responses in this thread are worrying...

So if you think the men here who say they are "straight" can be trusted more than those who openly admit they are bi?

Wow! That is seriously delusional! The number of "straight" guys we've shagged... Don't be so stupid! I'm sure they say they are "single" too...! Lol

Ignorance is bliss, or at least preferable to thinking about men having sex with men

There's a difference between bi-men and straight men fucking each other in lay bys and byways on the way home from work, in my experience the former understands protection and getting checked occasionally. Whereas the latter, doesn't because he's not "a gay".
