Just talking with a couple and they ask contact . I ask them i needed privacy and confidentiality before send my contact and i aske them to not share with anyone without my consent . They msg me back saying because i mention this matter that was a concer for them saying we all here for the same reazon and for that meet wouldn't hapen and blocked me .

I can't understand what was their concern about , if i share my contact and i ask to not share i think is reasonable ask because if i wanted my contact to everyone see i would have put on my profile.

I would like to ask your opinion about

Honestly it would weird me out.

Id wonder why you even had that thought. It would make me suspicious of you. It sounds backwards but it would. That's why we use kik, nice and private.

why i sound suspicious ? I jusked to not share with nobody with my consent , many times they asked me same thing is just a normal thing i believe

that's where they ask me to talk , that's why i asked confidentiality , why should that present a concern

If it was me I would be concerned about why you felt the need to ask.

We are all adults here and a certain level of trust is assumed, if you were insistent on me keeping your details private I would firstly be offended that you felt I wouldn't do this anyway and also I'd be wary of why you were so insistent, what did you have to hide.

I can see both points here, OP.

You've not done anything wrong for asking them to keep your contact information private.

They might have any number of reasons why it was concerning to them, but not everyone will feel the same way.

was not about hide , professional reasons was the reason because i asked , i can agree to some confidentiality is not a thing out of the site but to me is important , i think there's nothing wrong ask if i can trust , why would that offend . Yes is true, 0we are all adults here, but not all also are honest and how many fake profiles in the site , this was my concern why i felt the need to ask .

I know that and is not the fact they weren't right or not for me is not about the meeting i'm talking about .

the contact i was going to give was kik , that's what i do ,i share always contact this way both sides can verify if persons match profile

Return the block. It takes away their privilege of unblocking you & viewing your profile when ever they wish to. Tbh that's crazy that they had a problem with keeping your phone number confidential

Is ok if they want to have that privilege i don't hide my profile ,that is what ithough what's wrong in ask keep number confidential .

I just made the point ask them if they could keep private to not share with nobody i was not saying nothing wrong about them i think is a very common question when you share personal information asking that

When i share my personal information i like to ask to keep it private , if was not the case i would put my private contact all over my profile like an commercial advert but is not the case . Ask to keep personal information private is not offending anybody and even is not a matter of concern to anyone in keep that information private .

If profiles are fake or not if people are honest or not we never know they even can think same thing about me , my question is only is a matter of concern when someone ask privacy or confidentiality?

Just have a spare phone for "fab". A "fab phone" if you like.

No risk handing out your details then and also no risk in being able to link your number to you private social media profiles.

We would never give out personal contact details, ever.

I can see both points of view. The OP is entitled to privacy, however, personally speaking, I dont do blind date either and would expect to at least see a face pic before meeting.

I always do that face picture before dates , always chat also and talk on camera when both sides agree what hapen most times . I would never do a blind date
