Can we start a thread to warn people about accounts that send abusive messages for no reason? I always report these but I worry that other people may end up meeting them. Usually those kinds of people are the ones who don’t respect boundaries and take advantage.

Would it be classed as naming and shaming?

It's naming and shaming.

I still reckon it would be a good idea that if someone gets serially reported and it's not bad enough to get banned, an icon appears next to their name warning others to contact with caution.

After a certain time and log ins this disappears once the account holder behaves him/herself

It should be a ban straight away, no one should be sending abusive messages

It's too easy to delete then reopen a new account

Sweet talk them back around and arrange a meeting. Then have some burly types to meet them. They will behave after.

It’s the most ridiculous thing. He sent me a one letter message so I deleted it. Then he followed up with abuse because I didn’t respond. Reported and blocked but seriously! People like him shouldn’t be on here. They are the type who assault women because they think they are entitled to attention.

The world is full of narcissists so to speak, and they tend to get upset when people don't fawn on them!

Just block them and don't lose any sleep over them or an abusive message.

You could block new profiles from messaging you, hopefully they would get fed up waiting to message you.
