Am I the only one that reads the post in the forum and has a look and a read of the profiles of the commenters. All tht goes through my mind is wow great profile but what a total twat in their comments.

My block list is full of either racist, homophobic and sexist people, they may not see themselves as such, however that’s how they come across to me. Due to this I don’t want anything to do with them.
I have no doubt I’m on block lists due to my comments, cest la vie  |

My block list is full of either racist, homophobic and sexist people, they may not see themselves as such, however that’s how they come across to me. Due to this I don’t want anything to do with them.

Everyone judges. I'd be disappointed not to be judged. Despite the negative stance taken in the opening post and some of the replies, let's be honest here we all love it when we are judged positively and they are the judgements that matter |

Agree some come across as totally not our cup of tea. However, based on one subject and that the context could be misinterpreted along with tone, we usually give some slack. The thought still lingers sometimes though. |

Witty comment do tend to come across as they are intented. It is the hate speak and pure arrogance in some of the comments. |

I’m actually crazy, I like reading different opinions on the forums....
I don’t block anyone from the forums , because if I block them .....
I can still see there forum post.....
Now a quick guide to forum threads that usually bring out the most people being blocked..... Search these keywords
Bareback
Married and playing away
Leboudoir club in London
Bi sexual men
Fit/skinny/athletic women appreciation thread

I’ve looked at certain comments and thought “what a twat” then looked at their profile and thought “yep...definitely a complete twat” but then realised that they are my own comments and my own profile!!!

I once couldn’t bloody STAND a certain fella and every time he posted it made my teeth grit and my hair stand on end.... then I met him... at a party... Nicest man EVER.

I think I've blocked more people from the forum - due to them being unkind, spiteful,racist, misogynistic or homophobic etc - than I have from getting creepy/pushy/offensive/stalky messages. I wouldn't say their profiles are usually great but I've often been surprised at how 'normal' their profile seems compared to the bile they spout.
I've blocked *four* profiles today which I must be a record!
Not sure to be honest that blocking serves much purpose 'cos I doubt they'd be looking at my profile anyway, but it gives me a small sense of satisfaction to stop them seeing my pics if they did. |

Fuck yeah, I put private notes on rather than block just incase I've taken something the wrong way, or not learned someones humour or writing style yet.
Ultimately comments made on threads and reactions to comments can absolutely turn someone from a "really want to meet" to a "not in this lifetime" rather quickly.

We’ve never blocked anyone from the forum... actually I’m not sure we’ve ever blocked anyone full stop. Most of the comments we leave on the forums seem to pass unnoticed, and very few people send us messages. Most people who post here regularly seem pretty decent though, and I tend to just ignore the comments I don’t like. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and peoples opinions vary from topic to topic. Just because you don’t agree with someone about one thing, doesn’t mean you won’t be in agreement about something else. I alway try to think the best of people. |

It is not that i judge people on not having the same opinion as me. No one is going to agree with me on everything. It would be boring as if we all agreed. But there are some people who's comments on the forums are just nasty. There is no your just reading it wrong it is completely nasty. |

I usually judge people by their actions not just pixels that disappear in the ether and are in any event far too one dimensional lacking in tone and all those other non verbal elements that make real communication....well just more real. |

We we’re speaking to a couple on here, seemed all fine and good, then bam, just dropped in with the most racist bigoted views you could ever imagine. We tried to direct the conversation away from that and got called rich arrogant pricks who didn’t understand what the real world was like.

There is lots of drama and negativity on the forums which bemuses me when you know it is grown adults behaving in that way.
Lots of nastiness goes on behind the scenes which is pathetic.
I have only blocked on person on the forums after I made a comment on a thread they didn't like agd was very vocal about in PM, absolutely no need for it and just was not worth my time or attention.

Yeah my block list is mostly made up from people I've been put off by in the forums. The rest of it are people who specify they don't like my ethnicity height body hair etc.

Nah because reading is one of those things where it’s easy to misinterpret what someone means. Also a persons post about a certain topic is only a tiny slice of their whole personality. Especially on a site that focuses on sex. A forum comment isn’t going to provide any deep insight into them as a person |

It's healthy to have differing opinions but if it's put across in a condensing manner thats what gets people's backs up.
Updates and forum posts are a great insight into the person behind the profile especially if that profile is virtually blank and that person has winked you |

You're not the only, some people appear pleasant on forums but not in messages or tone. You sometimes write something of the cuff and what makes me laugh is their response to what's written starts of benign and pleasant, but by the time it's ended. True emotion has taken over, they've worked in a few insults along the way while appearing to themselves a victim and a sheep. I've blocked more people this month than I have ever done in the on and off again 6 years I've been here. |
