Meand my wife are having a weekend break in London at the end of this month, staying in a hotel in the West End. Can anyone tell us if there are any decent swinger clubs around there, and why they are good or not so good. Cheers.

My only experience is kestrels out at heathrow - but I have to say it was a blast and would be especially good if the weather were good
it's very manageable on the tube out to heathrow too - so maybe not what you were thinking but deffo a good shout |

If you're used to all the lovely action at Chams, then you'll find London can be a bit of a let down.
The best bet is OutPlace4Fun. It's small, with hardly any facilities, but we have had a good time there on every visit, some lovely hot couples go there. Very difficult to find - phone them to guide you in.
A long drive but Eureka, just outside the M25 SE, is very good fun, including outdoors on summer afternoons.
Abfabs has a lovely pool, but it's so spread out, it's hard to meet people. Rather action-free, by Brum standards. Good if occasional inhalations of aircraft exhaust fumes give you a high.
Radletts unfortunately admits pawing guys wearing trainers and dirty T shirts - unbelieveable!
Hope this is useful.

Nothing really in the centre of London for swingers especially the west end, although you'll have a great time doing 'normal' things. Abfab/ Kestrels is a bit of a slog from town on the tube and then quite a hike from the nearest tube station. The biggest problem though is getting back to your hotel when the club shuts. The only option would be an expensive mini cab.
It must be time for someone to open a decent club in the centre of London? |

"we are possibly off to ourplace4fun out near the alex palace friday night we are in london for the night and are hoping to try a club too will keep you posted if its any good it has good reviews so fingers crossed" . I've been to both ourplace4fun and Abfabs(also known as kestrels (it's a day/evening thing).
Ourplace4fun is very nice but quite compact so if you're comfortable playing with people right next to you it's great. Abfabs is much larger with lots of private rooms (with windows) and some people prefer that option. The people at both are really nice. |

You have Club Lick in Walthamstow, a little cliquey and full of pretty people, but friendly staff, and reasonable drink prices. Managed to have fun there once or twice.
Give "Real fun in Essex club" aka Little Yellow House a miss, it's in Barking, and is more like a squat then a club. It needs serious health inspection.
Abfabs is possibly your best bet, although I've not tried it, a couple of my friends have and says its a good night. |

I wouldn't advise Radletts, I went on a Saturday night, single bi fem and couples night. As a single bi fem, I have never had so many filthy looks from women who moved closer to their husbands every time I so much as glanced in their direction with a smile.
The 3 hours I spent in that party made me question, for the first time in 6 years, whether I belong in the swinging scene. |

Abfabs is good, Arousals in Luton is OK, but not easy to get to from London. You could try the F Club in Wandsworth, big place, they have a licensed bar and DJ on a sat night, and we have never had a bad evening there.. |

It's strange, isn't it? - London is the biggest and most cosmopolitan city in the UK and yet there are hardly any clubs, let alone good ones - while Manchester and its surrounds are teeming with great places. Does it say something about Northerners v. Southerners?
Anyway, OurPlace4Fun is terrific, one of my favourite venues - really friendly and always a lot of action. Thoroughly recommended! |

We must have gone on a bad night then it was single guy heavy till after midnight we were inundated by single guys trying to get us to play if it hadnt been for the great staff we would have walked instantly we also met some fellow fabsters there by chance who were doing a promotion for a book if it hadnt been for them we wouldnt have stayed. It depends what kind of club you like we are used to chameleons in darleston so prefer sauna based clubs |
