My wife had a meet with a guy (from fab) she’d previously seen before.. after he’d gone she noticed the condom wasn’t intact. There’s no way he wouldn’t have known but said nothing.. are we right to feel this is bang out of order? I think we are. |

I'd be fucked off to the max.
Accidents can happen and if it was absolutely 100% couldn't have missed it obvious, then yeah, I'd be screwing.
Communication and opportunity to deal with situations is part of the trust deal, not pretending things haven't happened.

I’ve messaged him and asked for an explanation.. like you say there’s a level of trust which obviously in this case wasn’t adhered too. Spoils the fun and just brings anxiety into what should be a positive experience

Just playing devil's advocate, it is possible he didn't know.
I'm not overly sensitive at the end of my old chap, having been circumcised over 40 years ago, and managed to shred a condom using my Fleshlight a few weeks back and didn't know I had until I pulled out.
Made hell of a mess of the mattress and bed base....
However, OP, all the personal safeguards mentioned still apply |

"Sorry to hear that happened OP. It's one of those things that can happen but he absolutely should have said something when he noticed."
Thank you yes realise it’s not 100% but a guys knows if it’s failed or been tampered with., after all he removed it. Yes I think he should have said something |

" hey its life accidents happen, its a bit of latex or rubber but mores to the point you can't change anything, it wasn't his fault or your wifes that it failed if he didn't notice the failure which could be the case then he didn't notice, if he did notice then all he is guilty of is not highlighting the failure and apologise on durexs behalf but to get upset with him achieves what exactly, you've probably already blocked him thats his punishment |

"Is it at all possible that it got broken when he took it off or maybe if he was trying to tie it in a knot?"
Unfortunately not.. it was obviously incomplete on withdrawal the other part made its appearance 2 days after hence the scepticism |

If you met him before ask him to get tested also. |

This happened to me , male, on a full swap couples meet. I pulled out after intercourse and the condom was not there. We looked and she went to the bathroom to look but it was just gone.
It was a passionate session and we were changing positions lots but I never noticed it’s absence until I went to take off the condom and it wasn’t on.
I felt so bad but the girl was understanding and we had met before so knew I wasn’t a chancer. That was the only time ever that’s happened BUT it can and the guy also might not notice. |

However it happened, people would typically share this information when they know. It's worth doing the same with him, as he may be ignorant of this still.
It's good for all of us to check out condoms afterwards, not just before. Some people are fast to get them off, so other things can happen, so the rush can result in rough and ready manipulation. It's worth making a highlight of checking this, so it's not in the control of just one party. |

"How about talking to the guy concerned, getting his take on it and decide what to do from there. "
Good idea. I'd be fucked off of it has been me and I saw this. |

We have had similar happen to us recently, but in fairness to the gent, he looked genuinely shocked and horrified. I’ve got my testing kit already and am waiting a little while longer before sending it off to check that nothing has developed.
If it has, we didn’t swap contact details with him as we were in a club and didn’t have phones |
