Anyone else feel these "single female" profiles that are effectively just defacto advertising leaflets for club nights undermine the integrity of this site?

I don’t mind them as they build interest and lots of fabbers don’t enter the forums to find out what’s going on at different venues.
But what I think he means is the actual profile is an advert for a specific night - not just a status update saying you’re attending.
Being so close to JD’s & VA there are a few profiles like this, for which their sole purpose is to advertise the night in question. |

Wow, I only meet in clubs so I'm always asking who's going or if anyone wants to meet there, am I not allowed to do that?
As for the couple who made vile comments about women at club nights, really? You think it's OK to say shit like that about people? I'm a fat single mum that goes to club nights so kindly take your judgemental attitude and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.

I work in a club, I go as a guest, I always have on my status what's upcoming & who's going. Spammer? Maybe to you but to those who don't use the forums it's handy to know what's on.
We could add whiney forum posts to that tho, there's an awful lot of those lately |

You need to get a life. This is a great site and so what if a single woman promotes a swinging activity. We are all grown ups and can form our own likes and dislikes. Being a single guy think you have narrowed the chances of a meet which are already not in your favour. Just enjoy what is here. Most of us do.

It was an open question more than a moan per se, to stimulate debate....the idea of a forum no?
FWIW I think that single female profiles that are dedicated wholly and exclusively to advertising club events they host/run/manage are spam and don't belong within a single female profile, it's the kind of fakery that erodes confidence in the integrity of the site, especially when those concerned state they are part of a couple and therefore it's manifestly obvious this single profile has been set up to advertise and for no other purpose.

Swinging clubs advertise on Fab. Some organisers are women who do it without a man involved.
This is the way Fab profiles are organised, there's no separate "club" option.
These profiles come with different inbox problems to regular profiles.
Separate profiles is the most efficient way to do it. If you don't like it, block them. |

Swinging clubs advertise on Fab. Some organisers are women who do it without a man involved.
This is the way Fab profiles are organised, there's no separate "club" option.
These profiles come with different inbox problems to regular profiles.
Separate profiles is the most efficient way to do it. If you don't like it, block them. "
So you've agreed in essence that the site should be providing some facility for them to advertise this in the proper way which is what I was saying, my beef isn't with the indviduals doing this per se but with the site condoning it.
For the avoidance of doubt imo single female profiles should not be used exclusively by that person to advertise their wares as a host/manager of club events.....not sure what's controversial about that |

The only thing that annoys us is we live 200 plus miles away from most clubs. Messages promoting these events are pointless to us we arent suddenly going to drive 200 miles the next day for an event. |

There are all sorts of people who go to clubs from all backgrounds all different sizes colours etc, anything can happen in clubs and it does! Fab is a meeting place to meet new faces and keep in touch with ones we’ve met. We’re all adults and we’re all here for similar things so let’s all play nicely and grow up and enjoy life before we’re all past it!  sprinkles Christmas cheer!! Come on all positivity |
