"Loads of forces on here, unless you find the ones into uniform, no one cares."
I'm not into uniforms at all. But I've met and had a wonderful time with a number of ex and current servicemen. |

We're all just normal people. I can assure you I haven't met every one that I've spoken to. I do just seem to click with them. But be grumpy if you want to |

Lola, not an uncommon post from someone who is ill informed ... it happens a lot!
The Forces are one of the most inclusive and diverse organisations I have come across which dispels this theory. I have been to pink weddings of both men and women who serve, some of them Majors and met the Army’s most senior TG Officer... it is really not a problem these days - quite simply it doesn’t matter.
Many would be (or should be) protecting their status in places like this though as it could leave them potentially compromised.

Another point to add to your very valid ones, Rachel is that it's actually no one else's business. If people choose to be discreet about what they like to do that's entirely their right. A man's sexuality isn't any reflection on his character and masculinity but too many ignorant people can't see that. The most dangerous, powerful man I've ever encountered (former spook, 6ft 4 of rugby playing public school boy, drooooooool!!) was fully bisexual and liked to sub to men. Alexander the great conquered the known world by his early thirties. Personally a man being secure enough in himself and his manhood that he's happy to explore his sexuality is something that I find incredibly attractive and I go for really alpha men. If someone wants to think that it makes a man a sissy or any other equally stupid name that's on them. But they're wrong and they're missing out. A lot |

None of the ones I've met have had pics in uniform. A handsome retired Major I was lucky enough to meet recently didn't tell me his rank until we were chilling together after the first time he'd.. ahem.. secured my beach head he said its very telling how much an ex serviceman talks about his service. Less is always more, with no exceptions. |

Lol not all of them are people you'd want to be around. I've spoken to some where the voices in their heads were singing fucking barber shop together. But you never know whether that's the roids. Either way... All kinds of no. |

I met a lovely guy once who'd been an artillery man for 12 years. My hearing isn't too great either, I've been to a lot of loud gigs. We sounded like we were in a retirement home... I said do you want a cup of tea!! You what??! Guy was an absolute sweetheart. |

There's a hilarious bit in Good Morning Vietnam where an artillery man asks him to play anything, just play it loud!! My hearing is getting worse and my eyesight is deteriorating too but on the plus side I'm getting a lot better at pinball |

I don’t understand that either. Most of the time the guys ask do I like soldiers in uniform as though they’re any different from anybody else on here. Using their military career to chat us up. |
