Distances willing to travel?

So I'm a very curious person tonight full of questions so bare with me when im posting a few different threads! But what distances are you all willing to travel for meets, if any? And if not how far would you let someone travel too you? |

Twenty mile round trip, been let down too often and we know some decent pubs & restaurants within a ten mile radius of our location, so that way, a decent venue of our choosing, if it's a no show at least we're at the advantage of knowing the food & drink will be good.  |

We wouldnt travel anymore than 50 miles ,as too many let downs ,but saying that we were in Glasgow and a guy said he would make the nearly 4 hour drive to meet us ,NEVER thought he would as closer guys havent turned up ,but he did and was SO worth it , hope to meet again,,..   |

I'm currently planning a trip from yorkshire to devon, to meet someone. But and i stress this point, i'm going down for a week and making it a holiday so if it doesnt work out then i still get a holiday win, win |

Id like to say the same, but it's hard enough to get a message from a women worldwide, nevermind local lol.. So i have to look further afield and if I clicked with someone who I liked, I wouldn't mind travelling anywhere in the UK to meet her.
It's not so much of a problem for me because I sometimes travel all over the UK for work and I choose where to go which makes it very convenient. However I've found that women want to meet local men for regular meets. |

Very intersting to hear eveyones different opinions on this, I'm of the thought that if I find someone I click with I have no issues travelling, but would most likely look at an overnight stay somewhere really long distance |

Yeah over night stay for long distances. I stay in the same area for 2weeks at a time, but when I say I'm there working, they don't want to know. I must seem dodgy. |

To me it just seems like a single guy is cursed on here lol, just got to keep trying I guess, be nice to be able to travel a bit but most people do look for local I find |

If it's a club meet or somebody we know then we'd definitely travel a fair distance. We like visiting new places and get about most weekends.
A non-club meet with somebody we don't know though? Not very far, because as everyone has said they could easily bail on you. |

I prefer to keep close to home and don’t want to travel more than 10 miles.
If someone was willing to travel further to meet me and put themselves up in a hotel with no expectations of getting more than a drink and some banter then I am ok with that. |

Prefer local but willing to travel up to an hour if we’ve chat for a while. So far it’s worked out with the travelling and lucky that I’ve had no time-wasters.  |

Flew from Canada to Glasgow to surprise someone.. We’d met before. I’d drive from Nottingham to Hers every few weeks

I have, and would again, travelled 4 hours for a meet before now.
I live in a pretty rural area so travelling a fair distance is something I accept is necessary, and for the right people distance is no object |

I love travel and adventures so have no real limits ... also living in the arse end of nowhere (nearest motorway is 100 miles or nearly 2hrs!) So pretty much used to travelling lots! |

I had a guy travel from Kent to Liverpool to have a social dinner with me. Sadly he was the most boring man in the world and I didn’t meet him on here it was a more vanilla place, so I can’t embarrass him.
He was trying to psychoanalysis me all evening. I could wait to get back to my hotel room alone. I told a girlfriend about the awful evening and she set up a Fab account for me! |

We have incorporated meets into our travels, well when we could travel. It might only be a one off but it adds some extra interest to our tours.
Usually though a couple of hours for a specific meet.  |

I've done that...and it was amazing!
I enjoy road trips though...I get to see a different part of the country as well as meet someone new and potentially have sexy time. |
