I think so. It's more of an objectification of an older woman, or at least a woman older than the person who is calling them a milf, rather than a fetish for someone who's had kids. |

Never correlated MILF with age just motherhood and that covers most ages though not all ladies! Have friends who haven't been able to have children and it does upset them so no, I'm not fond of it |

I (the wife) don't mind it now because our children are older. Didn't like it as much when they were babies. The husband was called a DILF the other night. That put a big smile on his face x |

Not terms that I would use, it’s a porn thing I guess?

The problem with all these terms is the way they're used. Respect and consent are so important and I can't help feeling that many of the times these terms are applied it's not in the way the recipient would like or choose. |

Well the term is certainly flexible as I have seen women in their thirties referring to themselves as MILFs on their profiles. I think the term has become rather mashed up with other concepts like Cougar and Hotwife, and so no longer is about motherhood or being particularly middle aged.
Personally I don't have a problem with any of these terms. For me as a Mum and middle aged woman, and I must confess an incurable slutty exhibitionist, I take them in the usually positive spirit they are given.
Also, as one of the contributors indicated, young guys lack perspective on age and so don't fully appreciate that the term may not always be appropriate, even if they thought it would be taken as a compliment.
Seeing as I am very definitely growing old disgracefully, I will continue to take any such comments as a compliment, but understand other women may feel differently. |

The term milf is only a porn name and noone would actually know in real life if a woman is a milf only by asking them they would know if they are a mother. |
