Get in, work out, get out. Maybe it's because the gym is full of grunting roid heads, but there's really no one there worth looking at. Also it's a bit weird just staring at people, having been on the receiving end I'd rather they just got on with what they're doing!

I went for a taster session at a local gym last week.... tight leggings that smoothed me out and controlled my jiggle, big sports bar under a baggy but low necked t shirt, so you could see cleavage....

pretty much no make up and hair up, but I’ve never had so many men obviously, sexually ogle me !

Great point... The main thing is to get healthy. It’s great for the mind as well as the body. You’re also spot on about body shape. It would be a boring world if we were all the same.

My gym is an old school bouncers gym where I’m one of only a handful of girls that train there. And the reason I train there is because the meatheads are focussed on what they’re doing instead of staring at me. Used to be a m_mber of David Lloyd and it was fucking awful. Skinny guys in vests and baseball caps staring at me when it’s leg day...really off putting

This! Bright red, sweaty and my hair stuck to my face. Please don't look at me

. I tend to buy my gym t-shirts at least two sizes up so they're baggy to hide a little more. Especially if it makes it a bit longer to cover my bum a bit as gym leggings really go show off your ass and thighs!

If someone catches my eye then I might have a quick glance, just like if I see someone anywhere else. But scouting out staring at someone in the gym is creepy. It's a place people go to exercise, it's not a meat market

I go to a gym which has a branch near my mum's house. I visited once to do aqua fit. A group of men appeared on the sun loungers just as the class started, gawped and left as soon as it finished.

It was pretty awful. I'll never do that class there again.

I’ll say this once again. It was a light hearted post and I made several mentions throughout the various posts that it was intended as such. A casual glance which is often unavoidable in certain gyms up & down the land. I even encouraged others to get out there and get to the gym regardless of their shape size or perceived reason for not going. Yet once again, we have the thought police and moral crusaders looking to be offended and the dashing hero’s rushing to the damsel in distress trying to win favour with the female m_mbers. Glancing is one thing, I'm sure we all do that from time to time, being stared at and followed as your using different pieces of equipment is quite different. Time and a place, as someone said earlier. I no longer use my local pool as a result of being harassed when I went for a swim.

You need to get out more.. I think you know the context in which the post was made. Don’t try and conflate a light hearted post on a swingers site with sexual predators. There has been posts from both female & males who quite like the idea of both watching and being watched.

You don’t have the right to judge others sexual preferences. Go check your profile. Did somebody judge you or tell you couldn’t like certain individuals or sexual practice. I changed gyms,so I could hopefully meet a woman for a life long relationship. I know...that sounds weird but hear me out:

I go to train and I train hard. I don’t ogle,I don’t perve. I just have it in my head that one day,I’ll meet that certain lady whilst swapping machines or small talk on the cross trainer. My last gym was full of sted heads and old guys.

"I changed gyms,so I could hopefully meet a woman for a life long relationship. I know...that sounds weird but hear me out:

I’d like to meet someone that looks after herself and shared my love for the gym.

Sad-maybe but you never know where you’ll meet your forever love.

Makes perfect sense to try and find someone with similar interests.

I completely detest guys ogling at gyms and can completely understand why female only gyms are such a success.

I do tend to check out other girls at the gym but mainly because seeing a great body exercising makes me work so much harder on my session. So it’s purely motivational

I try not to perv too hard. Im a big fella and I’m convinced that me staring at someone using the lat pull down would not only put them off but would also see me placed on some kind of register

Wow there goes all the advice I've been given that "no one cares what you look like at the gym, you're just there to exercise". I feel incredibly self conscious at the gym for obvious reasons as it is. Guess I'll have to keep going at 3am when I have the whole cardio room to myself...

I sometimes get anxiety and paranoid people are looking at me and I don’t really like it I’m just working out so I put on my headphones and blast some music, recently it’s been the moana sound track and that helps calm me down and relax and forget about people

I go to workout and an usually on a mission to train as much as I can while there but I have been known to ogle a few men and ladies while on a break in between sets

Thankfully my gym completely empties out late night/early morning. I've only had one occasion where there was someone else there. Although I completely freaked out, turned around and went home haha. I was trying to do home based stuff for a while for this exact reason but it's not the same.
