Depends on a lot of things really. Are you enjoying it / seeing benefits from it? I personally love a good squat - it makes up the majority of most of my gym workouts. And I’ve definitely seen rear end benefits so I’m motivated to keep going with it

It depends what your fitness goals are? I started out with just the bar and slowly added a bit more weight each time because I wanted benefits in my upper body (back and shoulders etc) as well as the usual places (glutes, quads etc), and have definitely seen that. I’m not sure if this completely to do with the increased weight of the squats though as I do other upper body stuff too. You could also try classes like Bodypump if your gym runs them, where you use a weighted bar to do low weigh / high rep exercises including squats - just offers a bit more variation. And I find a class keeps me motivated more sometimes as everyone’s doing the same

Keep going!! Ass is most definitely the hardest part of the body to get results in so takes a lot of hard work. Like others have said try different variations if you’ve plateaued in normal squats. Deadlifting and stiff legged good mornings also make my butt ache if your form is good

Same! I've found goblet squats with a dumbbell have really helped me improve my form compared to other ways of doing them.

Personally I can't see myself stopping. I enjoy it too much. Why are you thinking of stopping OP? I think it will be easier to answer if we know that.

As others have said, be sure to mix up the variations - keep you interested, but also help with different goals.

Bulgarian split squats always good to add into the mix...
