This can be true for redheads in general - there are still some that have very strange opinions and beliefs about having red hair. However thankfully it seems to be changing... Seen some very sexy redheaded men  |

Most guys or girls wouldn't be put off by a females hair colour and it's not an issue, whereas ginger blokes can be stigmatized, red hair is not generally considered to be an attractive characteristic in men. I've seen many females profiles on here specifically stating no gingers need apply. Maybe something to do with the pale skin. Although some cultures associate red hair with good luck, in a Beijing casino the woman next to me touched my friends ginger hair every time she placed a bet to bring her luck.  |

Being a natural redhead myself (Mr Brum) I have found people have been put of by it. Had a few occasions last year on here where members just stopped showing interest in us once they saw I had red hair. I got so fed up, that I actually stated I was a red head on our profile for about 6 months. It’s appears red hair and pale skin compared to dark hair and a tanned body never appeals. |

I married one, unfortunately he was a bit of a cunt, but I do have 2 gorgeous red-haired boys, who I sincerely hope are never judged purely on their hair colour
And I definitely wouldn't let one bad apple put me off an entire demigraphic.

Being a red head growing up is shit no doubt about it but when you grow up and realise a few truths about yourself then no matter what anyone says to you matters regardless of hair colour.
If you accept yourself does it really matter if your a red head or a blonde.....(just for clarification strawberry blonde is a ginger in denial) |
