How many of you get tired of the lifestyle and think about returning to a normal, vanilla way of life. Does this lifestyle ever get cumbersome to you? Have bad experiences or hurt feelings given you pause to reconsider? |

If we get jaded by the lifestyle and the people we meet, we just put our profile to hidden and wait for our mojo to return.
You can easily get tired of all the work to make meets work, planning club visits, hotel meets etc. Sometimes, I just want to stay in my jammys, watch some tele and cuddle with the O.H.

"The rude entitled men make my fanny dry up."
I hear that a lot. Not necessarily in those words, lol, but the sentiment. Not to mention the men that make you feel unsafe. |

There's some good ones too.
Are you getting fed up? |

Hubby and I have taken a really long break (nearly 3 years) but broke back into it a couple of weeks ago. I think we all need to readjust priorities and recharge batteries from time to time. Sometimes real life takes centre stage for a while. But I've no desire to hang up my kinky boots anytime soon |

I don't think returning to normal life permanently will be happening anytime soon, but if one of us wanted to then that's what we'd do. |

"I take breaks from the site from time to time as a few of my friends do. I can't imagine going back to a vanilla existence after spending time here. "
I think breaks help to keep sane! |

We took a 8 year break, got older, got fatter, still am quite content with home life, but having a late teenager at home, and enjoying being spanked and a bit of wildness, can be mega awkward to cover the noises etc, so was tempted back to the club, only to find why was I worried what I looked like and my size, as people find it far more acceptable to be real now rather than fake, even the hot younger ones dont seem to mind a older chubbier lady than knows what she wants, proud to now be a milf lol |

Breaks are important, it can become all encompassing after a while and I find it useful to reset. I can only take so many set backs before it gets me down so I shut down the profile, consider the vanilla life, realise isn’t for me and then try again on Fab. |

I've had a few moments when things have happened, made me take a step back, and occasionally real life issues have to come first
I just put things on hold, stop meeting, deal with the issue.
I can't ever see me leading a totally vanilla life now though.
I've finally found me, and I'm not prepared to change that for anyone

We been on Fab for two years now , got bored really . We had some quality meets and also made some good friends .
Now don't have the energy to chase new cpls . We decided to shut it off in December and return to normal vanilla life .
This lifestyle is definitely not for us.
So another two months left now |

We do not bother with it much, we enjoy many things. Simple things like taking the kayaks and the bikes weekends away in camper van. Sitting outside BBQ going and couple bottles nice wine watching the sun go down. The scene is too ... well many know what I mean. Seen it all been there done that, don't understand veris and meets like air miles. Yes we have pretty much left but we have friends we meet from time to time, rest of the time it's our time |

Bad experiences made us change the way we do things but we don't view this as a lifestyle anyway. It's more something we pick up and put down when the fancy takes us. It's not serious or vital just a very enjoyable. If it stops being fun, stop doing it is our motto |

I agree with nice couple x this is not a complete life style. I think that most people on here think much the same. You just stop and start back again when you get the notion. I personally think that when it takes over your life it's time to stop. |

I take breaks every now and again - mostly for my own peace of mind, not because something shitty has happened. Just to take stock. But I always come back.
Perhaps a little jaded but if I ever did get into a relationship I'd hope it would involve swinging. At this point I don't see me giving it up altogether at all. |

Tbh sometimes we do talk about knocking it on the head, and we have definitely slowed down the last 12 months or so, but hey sometimes its nice to spice things up |

I've been in the lifestyle for nearly 20 years, so I can't see me leaving it any time soon. Even if I ever found myself in another relationship, I'd want it to involve some aspect of this lifestyle. I do take breaks when I get bored though. |

Nah, it’s too much fun, it’s a hobby and if you don’t take it too seriously you can laugh about the disasters, so that’s never really put us off our stride. If you analysis, fret and generally take all the attention from fab seriously then you need a break x |

Definitely don't regret intensely pleasurable experiences with very special people. More open-minded about sex and as said by others a very enjoyable pursuit. Take a break when real life needs attention |
