Try putting no suit and tie types of people on your profile....

That might cut down on the messages from these professional people....

"I’m qualified in my profession and gain money from it

Thus a professional, it doesn’t always mean a suit and tie"

You're right, I've worn a suite but never a tie

I don’t think anyone is saying they are better. People normally like mixing with similar types.

Very true but with this funny thing called the internet, people have forgotten how to pick up on subtle hints....

Personally I'd be quite happy to be approached by some "professional" ladies.

Would deffo help with one of my problems...

What has the fact that your son was a professional soldier for 20 years got to do with your meets ? Are you saying only soldiers are professional and no one else?

Personally messages from guys who have a professional career would be a pleasant change.

Most messages we get from guys read like they’re been written by randomly pounding their fists on the keyboard.

if someone describes themselves in a way that you find unattractive it means you aren't compatible. It doesn't make them or you bad

I don’t think it’s being snobby to want to talk to similar types. Very hard to bond with someone you have little in common with.

Wow

Isn’t swinging about having sexual fun with others? Where did all this crap about mixing with others of a similar background come from? Nothing to do with swinging really is it

One of us went to Cambridge university and one of us left school at 16 so we shouldn’t be mixing with each other or have anything in common eh!

Isn’t the similar background for ALL of us that we want to swing? Isn’t that enough?

Meet up, chat about sex, fantasies etc have some fun, if we click in the play then maybe we can chat about what cars we have, how big our house is, what we do for a living blah blah blah

The ‘crap’ about people mixing with people from similar backgrounds is all about preference and attraction. There is scientific research which appears to lend weight to the fact that many people are more attracted to people who are similar to themselves.

You may want to use the site to meet a wide variety of people. Others look to play with those similar to themselves.

Each approach is perfectly valid as it’s down to preference. We shouldn’t knock preferences.

Since when does being experienced in a job make you a professional. Being part of a professional body, passing the particular fields entry examination qualifies you to pursue a career in said field and therefore a professional not experience. Next we'll have professional cleaners because of 20 years experience.

These professional bashing threads are irritating.

Lots of professional people in Aldi and Asda..

But also, what’s a concise way to say: ‘Able to construct a decent message, has something of interest to say, knows what respect and manners are, is not destitute, able to hold a conversation and isn’t going to suggest fucking in the back of his van’. For many people, that’s ‘professional’.

Feeling insecure? The word “professionals” is officially a term to describe a white-collared worker. What’s wrong with people using it ?
