So, after seeing people rave about this I thought I'd give it a try.

Why didn't anybody warn me about the smell? It's like rotten eggs and old man farts

Maybe I'm just oversensitive to this particular smell.

I don’t think it smells as bad as some other hair removal creams, but I haven’t used the extra strength one.

I make it up into quite a thick paste a bit like toothpaste.

I use the Aloe Vera one (green and silver) and I didn’t find the smell that bad. I find it really messy though, but it does the trick and is less burny that Veet. Had some awful Veet burns over the years

Probably worth mentioning that my hair is thick and dark and this still worked for me, so I reckon it’s good stuff.

I'll definitely try that one, I really liked how it worked, just not the evil stench

I've tried that. The smell is bearable but it still burned the sensitive areas and left some odd hairs in less sensitive areas. I might use it up for legs, but it's not going anywhere else.

Would you believe I saw it yesterday in a pharmacy store in the States. Had two, original and fragrant $2 each. Might buy some today but wait till I get home to try. It says about mixing with water and making a paste, is that the stuff? And how often do you have to use it?

Somewhere over the rainbow...

You have to make a paste and you need to make sure it stays as a paste and doesn’t dry up during the time it’s on - otherwise it won’t work.

I use the Aloe Vera one too.

We've been using the silver/green magic powder for 4 or 5 years now and buy from Amazon. They often do special offers on 3 tins or more.

Do a patch test first, as with all chemicals some people will have a reaction, some won't.

Wash your nether regions first and dry well.

Mix powder to a sloppy paste with warm water and put on the least sensitive areas first as these will have the most and longest contact with the chemicals. Areas closest to the vagina or anus are more sensitive and only need a couple of mins.

We usually wait for 8-10 mins for Mrs and 6-8 for Mr.

Rinse WELL in a warm shower and use a mitt or flannel but don't rub really hard. Don't use soap for several hours after. Pat dry. We use a mixture of tea tree oil and olive or baby oil to stop any reaction. Stays smooth for 5 or 6 days.

Don't use just before a session, do it the day before to allow the skin to settle.

I make the paste a bit thicker. Depending how much hair I have, I either scrape the worst of it off with a veet scraper or just use a scrunchie if there’s not much in the first place. I leave it on for about 10 mins and I use shower gel afterwards to make sure it’s all gone. Other than that I agree with the poster above.

It’s a bit of trial and error in the beginning but once you have found exactly how it works for you it’s bloody brilliant!

I have been using it for over 10 years now and I swear by it.
