taking the initiative

Why is it that the ladies never take the initiative ?.

How many men on here have had a lady make the first move and message them....

I think it should be looked into by the organisers. ...maybe for a lady to receive 5 messages, she then has to contact a man.....

After all we are supposed to live in an EQUAL society.

Although it's just the same in the normal world (ha ha) of going round pubs and clubs ect. Women never speak first, it's all put onto the man.

Free will. If I wanted to, and saw profiles I wanted to learn more about, I would.

Equality doesn't mean forcing people to message when they don't want to.

Unfortunately for a lot of guys, it does mean that women have way more options... and know it.

If I like the look of someone and their profile intrigued me I’m not shy about messaging first or sending a wink.

If I see a great status or an exceedingly well written/funny profile then I'll send a message first but I'm not particularly visually stimulated tbh

Who's to say those 5 messages would be wanted ones and from people that match what the lady is looking for?

I don't have a problem with messaging first. I actually sent a message to a Persian model on here earlier, he looked amazing considering he was in his 40's. Unfortunately he's left the site already

It's a bit like the suggestion that messages would have a character minimum. It'd be worked around.

"hey bb u sexay xxxxxxxxxxxxx"

Or. Pick a profile of someone I'm never going to meet. "Sorry mate, just filling my quota so I can get messages again" and block.

So you want to force women to message men?

If that happened i'd leave the site. I do message men first and I do make the first move sometimes but when I want to, not just to stroke fragile male egos.

I’ve received a few. Though some of those turned out to be timewasters.

Wow that is a new one.

Whatever happened to the freemarket?

Speaking as the woman in this couple, I've often initiated contact, but damned if I would do so as a part of a dictact. As in my real life, I speak to whom I want, not who I'm told to. The day that fab did this (clue:they never will) is the day they see a mass exodus from the females here, and that would include from couples.

She must then message a man?

What if she is only here looking for women?

What a silly idea.

I only really interact with those i approach. That way I know I like the look of them and I don't have to bother reading my messages.

then we would have men complaining that women only messaged them so that they can receive more messages.

Oh God, I'd LOVE a woman to make the first move. But let's be realistic, gents. The odds are against us.

that's the case of lame or lazy profiles - if can't be bothered to make the effort, shouldn't expect much interest

50 plus different single lady meets not one has come about from a single lady messaging us first, it rarely happens and when it dies they generally haven’t bothered to read the profile

I'm old fashioned. I still like to be approached by men.

But perhaps it's time to change my ways as I delete and block more than I would like to.

ill do what i want to do and not what someone tells me to do ..its not us women's fault that the numbers dont stack up and its not our fault that we normally get enough messages sent as for what we are looking for .. i chase no one and if they have fragile ego's because of that then tuff shitties i say ...

Why should people be forced to msg? If there's no conection and chemestry just move on to next one. Fact we are all here doesn't mean we must all must meet each other's
