Travelling to meet up, what is too far...?. Having messaged most single ladies in my area and not had a sniff of interest. I'm now branching further out of my county. Unfortunately lot of people don't seem to want to travel Very far. Messaged a lady from Leicester and im near Lincoln. It's about 45 miles. Probably 1 hours drive. Too far for her though. Does anyone realise that we have these amazing things called cars.....what's wrong with travelling ?. I'd love to meet a lady possibly for long term relationship to swing together ect
So I'd be happy to travel maybe upto 100 miles. weekends away at each others would be nice.
Any thoughts. ..... |

This will no doubt make me sound very lazy but I’m unlikely to travel for the first time meeting, mainly as I don’t have a car. I’m also wary of having people travel far to come to see me as it can create a bit of pressure and it also makes it less likely there there will be more than one meet. I just tend to not be interested at all but that’s just my preference. I have an fb who is 50 miles away, I think that’s about my limit |

Dear OP, not everyone has got this great invention that you're mentioning. But even if I did have a car, I'd still believe that any meets over 1h drive are not sustainable. As ok, it might be fine once or twice, but it gets boring, eventually, travelling all the time. Also, if someone is coming from further away, too many things can go wrong and the expectations would be too high. So no more than an hour drive for me. |

I think if it feels like there's a real connection or spark then people will sometimes travel that bit further.
Personally, I have only travelled about an hour's commute to meet up... I have met people when working away but wouldn't say it is exactly the same thing as I have been about to visit that area either way, with or without a meet arranged..
I was invited to a party at the other end of the country and it sounded very fun, very well verified hosts, but it just wasn't a distance I was prepared to venture entirely for sex when it was available a lot closer to home and so I politely declined and I am sure all participants had a fab time all the same. |
