Boxers vs Towels

Hiiidy ho!
We went to Chameleons in Birmingham on the weekend and we absolutely loved it.
Dress code for guys though is boxers or towel.
What are peoples likely motivations for choosing one of the other? I was happy in boxers, and given I appear to be a bit of an exhibitionist (who knew?!?) I'm expecting to wear even tighter, thinner ones next time. But then towels are better for.... quicker access? A good place to just put the towel that you're going to want to lie on later anyway? Or are they often used for more coverage? |

"Towels only for both of us or alternatively we just stay naked. But what's your motivation for that choice?"
It's comfortable and no faffing around for the Jacuzzi, steam or sauna....plus they just get discarded for sex of course. |

"Towels why?
May I say by the way that you two look good without towels
I know it was shameless and off topic, kind of. " Thank you! If you were all smooth and 20 years younger you'd have already had a message in your inbox :D |

"I like to wear my dirty boxers with wee stains on the front and tiger stripes on the back ..
I never seem to have much luck in clubs, no idea what "
Are they patterned? If so, that'll be it, I reckon |

They’re patterned after I’ve worn them |

boxers for me.both not really fans of the towel look.we prefer clubs that are not dress down straight away, we both like to dress for a night out and we find that you can tell a lot about others by the way they dress . |

We both hate men in towels. Most of the women in clubs make a huge effort and dress down into something sexy. This takes a lot of courage as everything is on show. All of the clubs we have been to actively encourage women to do this. In the age of so called equality and the pretence of women being in charge in clubs we are always astounded at how the men seem to be given the option of wearing a towel or even worse a dressing gown......attire normally worn when slobbing out in front of the tv at home. Not at all conducive to a sexy atmosphere. If women took this stance I wonder how many men would find them sexy and alluring. We have been given the excuse by a number of clubs that men like to see ladies in their underwear but don’t like wearing their own underwear as they are often unsure of their bodies and may be a little nervous about having everything on show. Ladies have these issues too but seem to overcome their body hang ups in order to fully embrace the mood of the evening. We never engage with a man in a towel or dressing gown. Has to be boxers. |

tottaly agree with this if the ladys take the time/effort to dress up then why cant the guys.a decent pair of boxers are not that exspensive compared to ladys underwear .i have some self confidence issues im a grower not a shower so dont have the bulge to show off but i still wear boxers as mrs likes them and other women we have spoken too also like the look . |

Hmm, that's not how I interpreted it at all, so many ways to potentially explain these things! To me it seemed that with this level of dress down, it was possibly more about making the guys commit to ... something, without *letting them* go too far, as no one wants to see cocks hanging out all over the place. Meanwhile women get to have way more fun and dress as dangerously as they wish. I can imagine that's down to my lower self confidence (despite wanting to wear even less!) and take on men's and woman's attractiveness in society. |

"This is kinda why personally I prefer dress up clubs, I don't think towels or boxers contribute to a "sexy and classy" atmosphere. "
We're with you all the way, guys in towels makes it feel like a changing room. This is one reason we love The Attic |

Normally for me in Chams it's a towel for daytime/chilling evening and boxers for busier nights/partys. I love to show of a good set of club boxers if I'm honest.
(Oh and nothing on a Tuesday, obviously) |

I think it's nice to make an effort and stand out in a sea of white towels. Personally I don't go for designer per se, just what looks good, sexy and a little different. I'm pretty proud of some of the club boxers I've found over the last couple of years. It's hard to find sexy (but no ridiculous) club wear for men.
It's just ashame I've managed to also lose a couple of set of favourites in the heat of the fun. I do sometimes wonder what became of them? |

Only trouble with shorts is putting them back on when you get out of the hot tub (giggling remembering seeing more than the odd guy falling over trying to get their leg in and I bet they wished they’d just stuck to a towel!) |

My partner is the same, she's lost a couple of nice set and also a couple of pairs of shoes in clubs . To be fair I'd rather lose some boxers than her lovely things. |

Being an ex-pat Jock, I wear a sporran... no kilt, just a sporran.
Maintains my dignity, keeps my toosh on show and gives me somewhere to carry the locker key that avoids the dreaded ‘wanking rattle’.
Besides which, the ladies seem to like checking what a Scotsman wears under his kil... ahem... sporran! |
