My (her) preferences have always been to prefer the younger man but this had changed. I now prefer men aged late thirties/forties.

I find I am now attracted to this age group more because I probably have more in common with them, the sexual attractiveness of the personality as much as the physical attraction.

Don't get me wrong I know a younger guy can offer these qualities and lots do but as with many things such men are harder to find.

Maybe as I mature my appreciation of men around my own age is becoming more apparent.

Now obviously I know what a cougar is... but at what point does a guy consider a lady to be one?

Is it any age above their own?

Do they have to be 'X' amount of years older than them?

Do they need to have passed a certain age?

I guess everyone has their own preference, making this a daft musing, but sometimes I just have to think out loud

It’s pretty ridiculous how older women are pigeon holed into something specific on here, with guys going “oh I love cougars” blah blah blah what nonsense, everyone is individual, treat people as individuals....

Apologies! It was mainly a response to the post prior to mine, I just wanted to explain that I'm not someone who fetishises older women. I like them for genuine reasons and pointed those out, I didn't mean to be critical of young women while doing that

I tend to go for much older men.

Guess I feel more confident and less body conscious with an older man although I do enjoy a scroll through young guys photos so maybe I should treat myself to a younger man soon
