I’ve been arranging a social meet first, as I’m a single female, before agreeing to a full meet.

What would you say is your success rate for single men showing up to socials?! I’m currently on 33% but realise it’s early days!!

I think you're doing the right thing by having a social first but unfortunately there are a lot of people on the site now, men, women and couples who have no intention of meeting. I am suspecting that the couple profiles are probably lone men, but i think there are a lot who like the idea of the site but have no intention of ever meeting and are on it for fun and who find it funny by agreeing to meet and inconveniencing that person and not showing up... I have had at least 3 such "meets" Xx

About 95% in 2 years.... not bad... I am spoilt.

I do get majorly pissed off when stood up/cancelled last minute, etc. Thankfully it’s only happened a couple of times..

It's not infallible but a good approach. I think I'm lucky with only two to date. First was to an avatar pic, who walked right past me, didn't even acknowledge or do the polite coffee and 'sorry no my type' route. Later insulted me after my 50mile drive back home to say I didn't look like my one month old photos. Spittin' feathers. Never again, a photo or nada, not for me. The other one did apologise as got cold feet, but that was a 70miles e/w trip.

Two within over a year. Just got cold feet. Sometimes you just never know. But there were signs so it wasn't a complete surprise.

Keep your chin up x

we tried to organise a gangbang, invited over 10, not 100% sure how many, but despite all having good verifications, and plenty of notice given ,only one turned up, lost our faith abit tbh

So many messers on here. A social is a great way to filter those out.

It’s not just single guys who don’t turn up for meets, I’ve had a few couples go quiet a day or two before, never turn up and never respond again/ block.

Had a couple agree to meet, but only the guy turned up.

It’s not just this site though, it seems to happen all over, I think a lot of people like the idea of it rather than actually doing it. Then not turning up is easier than explaining you don’t want to do it anymore.

I imagine couples would be more reliable tbh. I don’t get why someone would delete their profile rather than ping a message saying I can’t make it. They could then block me if worried about my reaction!!! Why disappear?!

I’ve had no shows from single females aswell as couples.

When hosting a ‘Pourvolonte’ party, we always ensure we allow 25% no show for couples and single men. We do meet the attendees beforehand to ensure they’re genuine and if they don’t show for the social then they don’t get an invite to the party.

We (MF couple) have been meeting guys from here since middle of August. Our "stats"

Arranged meets: 16

Cancelled by other party: 5

Postponed by us: 1 (Char was ill)

No show/no communication: 5

Actual meets: 5

Char has just about gone off the whole thing now as we just can't get single guys willing to work around our need to book two weeks ahead and Char's possible health issues near the day (recovering from cancer).

Just check whether you arranged a meet with anyone that’s likely to have an unexpected period, a sick child, a relative on death’s door or an unreliable car.

The single women of fab mustn’t be amongst the unluckiest in the world.

Hope it works better for you than it does for everyone else.

I met my FB on here and I see her regularly. Aside from that we go to clubs too on occasion and have met people through that. So really only 1 meet arranged and it went well

So do we - one that really annoyed us was a couple who we had been chatting to for a while... they cancelled as we were literally about to leave the house. What made it so annoying was that the next day they had a new verification from the night before!! Told us they couldn’t get childcare, was obviously a load of bull!

I've had one no show ever, excluding gangbangs which are notorious for it.

I've cancelled two meets for health reasons (in as much time as I could with no hard feelings), and had a handful called off for similar reasons.

I always have a social first, I'd say i have a 90% success rate with those.

The worse time was when I'd travelled to London and was going to spend the night with a guy in my hotel.....unfortunately he lost his phone so couldn't let me know that he couldn't make it! Yeah right

No shows to date are roughly half or meets which is all the more frustrating. But don't give up they ones that show up are always worth it .

We have had loads to drive past the car or we are waiting for 30 mins.. But this point we have got bored and entertained ourselves. A few hours later you get oh I got scared. Blocked there is no second chance.

Lady offered a GB for older guys as a sort of tribute to her G/father. Several cancelled, late phone call from her to me, "did I still want to come as would be solo?" Was a fantastic meet, they missed out big time.

I’ve had two ‘no shows’ recently! And a few say they will and then same day something comes up- I know this happens but sometimes it’s frequent so think I’ll move on...

All socials one ‘second meet’

We have had 3 no shows this year, it’s very frustrating.

We chatted to all on phone made arrangements and they don’t turn up.

Not sure if they just bottle it or it’s just a game for them which turns them on, rant over

I've had a few cancelled meets. Messaged a few times, arranged a meet then no response. I've travelled to post code areas 10-15 miles away because I've thought someone was genuine and had verifications but got there and no response...... Hate time wasters, if your just here to view there's plenty of free porn sites, you don't have to waste peoples time.

We found that most single guys were no shows, we counted 6 who turned up to meet for a drink, most of which backed out of the bedroom fun.

However, the six that did show represented about 33% if those who agreed to meet but didn't turn up or even call to let us know they had cancelled.

No wonder we stopped meeting.

I think it helps by displaying verses of your socials. It shows you are genuine and will turn up. It also shows that you respect a social as being that...not expecting anything more. I've always said a social is the opportunity to leave someone wanting more. Hopefully mine do that

I’m on100% but I don’t rush into a social meet either. I also don’t send pics during that time, s out the pic collectors and those who want to charge through the whole site.

I play by my own rules on here and won’t jump to anyone’s demands.

I think it's a mood thing. You can be climbing the walls one day, then lose the lust 24hrs later.

I avoid planning ahead for that reason. Spontaneity is the key for me!
