For me it’s knowing other people I’m socialising with are equally as sexually liberated
Sex is an outcome of the above but never my expectation

For me ( us) it’s sharing sex with multiple partners without love relationships with them. It’s swapping or group play.
For singles I think it’s the clubs or the same mentality of clubs where you play, have a laugh, maybe make friends but the aim is to have liberated sex without commitment. - Mrs |

As someone from outside swinging and not being straight, my understanding of it was married straight couples swapping partners. Seems more diverse than that though and find it interesting all the different roles you have in those circles like bull, cuck, vixen etc |

I think of swingers as people with partners (who they may or may not be married to) who have agreed on not being sexually exclusive with each other.
If you are not in a relationship and having multiple sexual partners, that is different to swinging in my opinion.

Swingers from my understanding is really anyone who is open minded and willing to perform random acts of sex with like-minded individuals, with all parties respecting each other and a mutual understanding no relationships will be affected by it. |

I think it can be couples or singles but people who ‘get’ swinging. Over the years we have received messages from people trying to save me from my crap sex marriage  or people who assume we need to do this because our relationship is not great. To me swingers are people who understand the dynamics of swinging x |

Ahhhh that will be why some people think swinging is the same as cheating.
And why some married people (meeting without their partner's knowledge or consent) don't understand why some people won't meet them. |
