I've not seen this film, but 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' was bloody great...so going on that if the director is consistant it should be a blast.
I might check it out myslef now thanks |

I really did not like Shortbus and I really wanted to. Most of the acting is dodgy and I found myself not caring about any of the characters at all. I thought it tried too hard to be something it wasn't, a pretty hollow movie all in all.
Agreed on Bad Boy Bubby , great show. I would recommend a movie called Happiness for those into controversial cinema. |

Watched 'Happiness', nothing wrong with it as such but remember much prefering his 'Welcome to the Dollhouse' that was a right hoot in places.
Can anyone remember the title of a film for me... I've been trying to remember it for a couple of weeks now and it's really bugging me!
I'm pretty sure it was re-done by the Yanks. Family living lakeside, see their 'neighbours' out on the lake with 2 young men they don't recognize. The lads show up at their family home and it all gets pretty nasty...
anyone? |

I think thats Funny Games you might be thinking of, Michael Haneke directed both the original and the remake. It sounds very much like it anyway |

That's it! thanks for that, was trying to recommend it to a work colleague and couldn't. Thanks that .... hadn't realized both were the same director, that explains the remake actualy being worth watching for a change |

Have a look in ASDA for their really cheap DVD Player, they are only about 15-20 quid, and play all sorts - have a read at the packaging you might find they are multi region and are well worth the money
I know they do loads of copy types - just not certain about NTSC |
