Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
Not yet- planning on the imperial palace, as almost as cheap as circusd circus (but can't be as dingy...), and I fancy upgrading to their 'luv tub suite' which look like a bit of a laugh.
Failing that, poss the Rio for the nightlife.
Open to your suggestion too though...? |

We did the New York New York which was great but with work I have stayed many times in
http://embassysuites1.hilton.com/en_US/es/index.do
go to the web site and search for their LV location
It's off the strip but a 2 minute walk from the mono rail which runs to the rear of all the casinos up to the MGM.
Included in the room cost is a cooked breakfast buffet and from 5:30 till 7:30 in the evening a managers reception which is American speak for a free bar
Forgot to add that as it's off the strip it's not a casino do there is no 24 hour da ding da ding da ding
Only other tip I offer is the walk to the Stratosphere to take the lift to viewing platform is worth it's weight in gold |

Walk to the Stratosphere? It's sodding miles! Have been known to walk around a bit, but keep getting caught out with how far stuff actually is - Stratosphere to Circus Circus was one - had to stop for drinks at the largest gift shop (of tempting tat).
Thanks for the link though - will certainly consider it, although half the fun of LV is going to some random other hotel for breakfast - Paris is favourite, TI was the worst, although this was more logistical than culinary.
It's easy to forget that there are lots of non-casino hotels knocking about - I think they get grouped together with the "by the hour" motels subconsciously, so it's good to hear the views of someone that's been to one. |

Right, booked it.
Flying in to Vegas night of the 3rd, leaving the following Sunday morning.
Anyone up for a social?
Since I'm arriving about midnight, I haven't booked a hotel for that night - will have to find some way of keeping myself entertained all Saturday night...might be tricky! |
