I have seen many mostly women with a single circle with eight points on the edge and hole in the middle so it looks an ships wheel ,but no other tattoos is there a meaning ?

I have a tattoo that looks how you describe (not that you can see it on any of my photos though)

Mine is a Viking Compass.

The meaning behind a Viking Compass is something to do with "always finding your way home".

Mine was actually in memory of someone though. They had it so I got it.
