When my daughter was about 13/14 she came into the living room and said her eye was sore and she thought she had pink eye! I nearly spat my coffee all over the room and pissed myself laughing assuring her that she did not have "pink eye!"  |

Pink eye is just conjunctivitis. It’s what the Americans tend to call it. |

Yes it stings. I ended up with conjunctivitis (pink eye) and had to go to chemist for drops.
I don’t see why your all making such a big thing about it. It’s a common eye infection especially if you wear contact lenses and it can be spread easily. |
