Well we prefer to not use protection with another couple this is by no means a safe method but we choose to do this as adults.
Just our point of view but we believe if you are going to involve another person in your sex life then you can't be free of risk by using condoms anyway although they do greatly aid in your/their protection.
We personally also don't worry about pregnancy problems either because I have a coil fitted. Obviously Dave my partner has that risk to consider being a functioning male with any lady that may not use any other contraceptives.
But on the whole we enjoy all aspects of sex such as kissing oral and using sex toys so the risk is always there for any infection to be passed on through sexual contact alone.
Ultimately though no the risk never goes away, that said we have been swinging now for between 4 to 6 years now and neither of us has either had any problems or a bad sexual health check result.
It's all a big personal choice though and with your head on your shoulders and some common sense it's up to others to make their own choices.

I take PrEP every day which means that I can’t catch HIV (statistically it’s safer than condoms)
And get a full sti chech up every 3 months.
I bareback on occasions, love the way it feels.
Love adding my load to an already cum filled hole. |

Not worth the stress, unless it's a regular partner and you know they are STI free. Had sex with a Brazilian transexual once and, in the heat of the moment, lost all sense and left the protection off. Thankfully she was STI free but the anxiety/embarrassment of having to go to the Sex Clinic for a HIV/Hep B test, then waiting for the result, means it's not a mistake I've ever repeated. Least I got a totally clean bill of health, but no, never again. |

No bareback for me ever. STI risk is a big factor but also I just seem to have to look at a cock and I end up pregnant, and I don't take any form of contraceptive.

Totally respect your open view here and for being brave enough to voice against the norm on here... ( I dont personally think that every one that protests actually does as they say anyway and seen way more bareback play than safe in house parties and private meets.. in fact when i was a couple because I wouldn't go bare.. we struggled but anyway)
You say you dont worry as your on the coil but he obviously has to consider that any party he may play with should hopefully be on contraception but what if either parties contraception failed.. ( i got pregnant on the coil) |

Wish more women were like you....
I'd love to do everything with protection, dental dams and condoms..... very few women will suck with a condom.... means I restrict my meets to inexperienced people with few or no veris to minimise risks

People are saying they only do BB with "people they trust".
Is this some sort of magical pill that I havent heard of... "trust"... that stops people catching STI's?

yes you can catch stuff via oral but the risk is considerably less. Hence i take the chance with oral without. Although its rare I get cum in my mouth.. so it's a risk im happy to take. Im not prepared to risk having full sex without a condom and I dont do anal casually at all |

No idea on the fab figures for this particular issue, but in general terms I'd absolutely dispute that the forum is a "dam (sic) good representation of members"! I'd bet only a relatively small and very specific subset of members have ever even thought about using it. |

So the majority of people have said that they wouldn't consider bareback penetration with a fab meet, and I too fall into that category. Oral has been touched on, but not mentioned by most posters, and I'm intrigued to know what percentage apply the same rules for oral?
I've never tried protected oral (either way), or even been asked to. I wouldn't mind receiving through a condom, but I do think giving cunnilingus through a dental dam would take every ounce of joy out of one of my favourite activities. (And yes, I'm aware that sounds a lot like the quotes people used to/do say about condoms for penetration!)

The rate of hiv infection is alarming.I work in the blood screening section @ guys hospital London.some people don't take safe message serious.once you are infected your life will never be the same again. End up taking different combination of drugs for the rest of your life.
Don't trust anyone.if you enjoy bareback do it with your man/woman.safe sex is better. |

After a recent clean bill of health from the Gum clinic it’s important to spread the safe sex message
Only once 15 years ago was I caught out with a regular play partner who had chlamydia- simple course of antibiotics then safe sex with everyone after that
Was married for about 10 years and glove free with that person x
Then after separating enjoyed a wild few years but with regular check up x
Recently had a few non condom oral ( received)
Spoke to health practitioner at clinic who said it’s rare but not impossible for the giver to catch many of the disease listed in previous posts but those who receive are more at risk x this was for male recipients
Not sure the stats /risks for male on female oral
Anyone with any knowledge of this x

Dont forget HPV ! can catch this using a condom or oral ( ask Michael Douglas) If you have the cancer causing sort it can affect your partner. They have only started screening since Sept 2018 during smear tests. The NHS wont test women.. only high risk males. Alot of fems finding out they HPV positive now.. death knell to oral play. |

Sex without a condom doesn’t give you an STI; it will only happen if the person you had sex with is infected.
Even if you catch an STI it won’t kill you. You might die if you don’t take treatment.
I fully support the notion of Safe Sex.

Still doesn’t stop my mind from thinking I should use protection for oral too though....
As we all know, we can still catch things through oral.. so most of us choose not to protect when doing oral but do when penetrating?!
I always get tested, frequency depending on how active I’ve been.
I do admit though, if I have been playing with a guy on a regular basis, and there is trust and honesty, I would consider bare back. But only if I’d known the guy for sometime and there is a good strong friendship there.

The selfish part comes into when the barebacker wants to meet someone who doesn't want to meet barebackers. They will say they always use condoms so lying to get what they want. The person who doesn't want to meet barebackers is put at risk to their risky behaviours should an accident occur i.e. condom breaking or coming off. Is this fair?
Just because they are willing to wear a condom doesn't make it ok. Anyone who barebacks shouldn't put safe sex on their profile because there's nothing safe about them. People who do safer sex want as risk free as possible. That means only having sex with others who value safer sex and regular testing.

Great to hear people being open and honest. Everyone is able to make an informed choice as to what they do sexually. It is about knowing the risks and acting accordingly. Your sexual health is yours alone. Have fun, know your limits and get checked regularly. |

Unless you live with someone 24/7 you could never trust them . My personal opinion is this who enjoy BB should make it clear before a meet .It's totally up to the individual but it's also very irresponsible in my book .. It's not theory but experience.
So many guys who bareback on here and lie about it but forget they post the pictures of their bareback meets or the verifications they leave going on about how much they loved filling a pussy with their spunk/ or filling their ass etc etc. Swear they always use condoms.
It goes the same with the guys who deliberately bust condoms or take them off. Because bareback feels better.

Even checked that week and clean isn’t a guarantee. Different infections take time to show in testing, HIV around 13 weeks. |

Don't meet now but always made it clear that "safe" was non negotiable. Only bare back is with hubby. One guy said he had a "problem" with condoms. I insisted. He managed to wreck ALL of them. Needless to say I thought he was a bit of a duplicitous prick and he went away unfulfilled. |
