Question for any diabetic swinger using an insulin pump

Hi all,

I am diabetic type 1 and have it it for almost 30 yrs now, Im hoping to go onto using an insulin pump in June and I wanted to know how other diabetics that have a swinging lifestyle cope with using the pump when they are swinging ?

Hi, l'm diabetic as well, l also have lots of other problems. Six months ago l had to change diets because l was constantly suffering horrendous gut pain to do with diabetic complications. The diet is just cutting out carbs and amazingly after 6 months my blood sugar levels are bang on normal, usually 5-5.5, so l'm no longer diabetic, and l feel wonderful, tons of energy, mental alertness and l've lost over 2 stone and given l'm bedridden 95% of the time, lossing weight has been a massive bonus because l can't excercise. I'm a very happy bunny now!

wow thats brilliant Im on a carb counting course at the moment and there is 2 people on it who have the stomache problems related to the diabetes. Ive had it almost 30 years and after chatting to a lot of other diabetics on Facebook who use the pump and said how life changing it was I fellt it was about time I gave it a go and luckly my consultant has let me

I was just wondering how people get on with it when at a party etc does the pump get in the way and where do you attach it when your naked lol
