We go to both regularly, depends what you’re after most. For sightseeing Paris, for a more chilled out break Amsterdam. We prefer the clubs in Paris, but for general perving you can’t beat the red light district in Amsterdam.
If we were forced to pick one this weekend it would be Paris, but we did just come back from Amsterdam yesterday!
If you haven’t been to either, go to Paris. But you really can’t make a bad choice here.

Amsterdam hands down ..beautiful city that's much more than just a red light district ... I hated paris over rated very expensive and city of love ?? nah |

Paris you got sights like the Sacred Cur mon Marte plasta la Concorde for sight seeing. In Amsterdam you have the Van Gough museum and Rikes museum. Lots of little bars and cafes. The grand canal and for the hedonistic part the cafes where you can smoke, drink tea and space cakes. Use the underground system in Paris to get around. Lots of sex clubs in Amsterdam. So all depends what you want  |

Amsterdam has got a lot "tamer" in the past couple of decades, but also a lot safer. It's my favourite European city. Paris, I'm sad to say, only feels safe at night in the very touristy areas. I was there last week and there's still quite a bit of unrest in some areas, but it is a beautiful city. |

Amsterdam is my favourite city in Europe, Paris was nice but one visit was enough. The dam though has so much to see and do apart from sex and . Also there are 3 red light districts in the city. Myself though I tend to stay in Haarlem just outside of Amsterdam now its so beautiful quieter and cheaper. |
