Over Fifties Blues?

Discussion with friends in my age group has settled recently on how to deal with diminishing attention from others as we age. Here I am thinking in terms of at a club or party, rather than the site itself. We shouldn’t be surprised, ageism is an inevitable part of the swinging scene. In sexual matters, age preference frequently dominates, on both upper and lower limits. No complaints about that, but I wonder how other 50 plus swingers feel about their place in the swinging world. My feeling is that younger swingers are increasing in number while us more mature types are diminishing.

I know the site doesn’t have a creche for the under thirties, but I wonder whether there would be demand for an over fifties room in the chat? A forum to support and reassure that there remains a place for the over fifties in the swinging world.

Ooo creche for the under thirties, you will have em gunning for you

Personally as I don't use the chat rooms, I cannot decide whether I want one or not, and if one half of the couple was under 50, they could still access the room

Lisa, partners of over fifties must be allowed, they have demonstrated their taste for fine wine.

I'm nearly 56 and whilst I don't get inundated with offers I still have a nice steady flow arriving in my inbox.

I did a quick hunt on site and was pleasantly surprised to see that there were many people my age and over still active (and vital) here. The oldest I found was 84!

I don't often use the chat rooms but, it might be a nice idea

We are both in our 50's and it hasn't been a problem for us. I (A) was 50 when we started this lifestyle and can honestly say it is the same now as it was 7 years ago. We all have ups and downs in the lifestyle but it is very much what you make of it.

Except when that partner is in the crèche group; some of us have an age preference, remember
