There seems to ba a lot of confusion about tv's/crossdressers. (ts's are transexuals who are born in the wrong body)I have explained what dressing means to me in my profile which I believe (judging by the responses i have had from other tv's)explains what it is all about.

I guess it's the same kind of spectrum as sexuality. People dress for different reasons and to different extents.
Hope you feel good about yourself. Made me feel a bit sad that you said you try not to do it. We are all who we are. If it makes you happy then do it. Don't let anyone ever make you feel bad for being you. xx |

For what its worth here is my take on "TS/TV and CD"
A TS can be generally split into two types.
1/ Post-op TS. A person who has larger breast cup size than a male, either by augmentation or natural means and who undergoes surgery to form female type genitals.
2/ Pre-op TS. A person who has larger breast cup size than a male, either by augmentation or natural means and who has male genitalia.
A TV is a person who dresses in a way and an effort to look as much like a female as the accepted norms of todays society dictates and this normally means make-up,wig and dress etc, but who remains a male in majority.
A CD(Crossdresser) is a person who wears female clothing(normally underwear) but who cannot or does not want to wear the other stuff like make-up etc.
These are not definitive explanations in any way but represent my views on the terminolagies often expressed. |
