Most so called tantric massage is anything but, but has borrowed the term to appear esoteric or mystical. True tantric massage will be a healing process that engages with energy centres (often referred to as chakras) and the circulation of energy around the body. There are different varieties, but generally speaking there will not be sexual contact, although orgasms may naturally occur as energies are built and released. There certainly shouldn’t be handjobs or the suck like. Tantra is an extremely involved yogic discipline of which spiritual sexual union is a part. If you are visiting a tantric guru then that is a very different experience to the Eastern massage which often calls itself Tantra because it is slower and centres around therapeutic techniques. |

Agree with Mr Jake. Tantra is far more than massage. You don't just turn up for a tantric massage. What we're usually talking about in this country is a deeply sensual massage. |
