Who appreciates the curvier woman?

Been putting on weight recently due to the dreaded menopause and hot to admit it’s knocking my confidence a bit.

What do people prefer, curves or skin and bone?

I've had some really positive messages about my own body shape so I'd like to think there's an equal number of people who like cuvier wobbly girls as like toned slimmer girls

You seem good to me btw

I think the majority of men just like women. Size when it comes to either extreme might come in to it but it's more about how confident and how much you love yourself. That's attractive. Not the putting on/losing 10 pounds (arbitary number).

Have a look at the fast 800- its a game changer i promise you ,honestly you're gorgeous! You look very similar to me ,i swing ( no pun intended) between 12 &14 and honestly i get so many men and women telling me im sexy! And i dont care what anyone says as women we need validation sometimes and we want it from men!And im sure someone will have something to say about that but its the truth! We flog our guts out being facilitators for out families and it can make us feel very isolated and neutral. Then comes the meno! The final insult! So yes! I want validation from a man and im totally at peace with that!

I hate these threads. Body positivity is about embracing all body types. Not shaming those that dont fit your bill.

Of course it is ok to have a preference.

It’s always disappointing to see these threads. Why does anyone need to compare themselves to others for validation?

Slim women are beautiful.

Curvy women are beautiful.

We can all have our preferences without having to tear each other down.

You calling other people rude is abit rich when you called slim women 'skin and bones'.

You asked for opinions and you got them, the majority of people didn't like the way you spoke about slimmer women, it was disrespectful and uncalled for.

I don’t think my comment was rude, just like I said, it’s always disappointing to see threads which ends in insults being thrown about. I don’t think many people realise how damaging words can be to others. They may think they’re building someone up, but it’s often at the price of tearing others down.

Let’s just celebrate people, in all their shapes and sizes.

There is a difference between having a preference for a certain body type and using derogatory names to describe slim women

In the long run I (MT) have alot of negative comments about my size but that does not give me the right to do the same to others.

Personally I think sexy isn't a shape it's an attitude. What one person could think is curvy could be totally different to someone elses perception. Same with the slim/ athletic, each to there own, this includes everyone aswell.

If your confidant in your skin, thats enough to make you the most attractive person in the room regardless what box yourself or others put you in.

But that's just my thoughts

"Everyone has their own preferences. Tall, short, clean shaven, beards... even hair and eye colour. Having preferences is ok. What's not ok is using a derogatory term to describe anyone x

Term used for years and years. Still used by many with no offense meant. Why are you all trying to make the poster feel bad for saying something they meant no offense by? To me it's not her that's bully it's all of you wimps "

Nar she's not stupid I'm sure she knew exactly how ti make slim women look unattractive.

Always goes the same way these “Curvy” threads, a fat girl makes derogatory comments about slim people and it all kicks off and rightly so, if you are fat, stop putting slim or skinny people down!
