What does that actually mean ... in my view we were (or should have been) all born curious and therefore the only people that can say they are truely "straight" are those that have tried it but didnt like it ... otherwise surely they must still wonder... is that reasonable? |

No it’s not reasonable. Sexuality isn’t a choice, it’s just in you. I don’t fancy men in the slightest, I don’t need to have sex with one to know that. The idea of it repulses me, that’s how I know. |

For me it's when you've just been interested in the opposite sex, then something or someone sparks an interest. When I first started crossdressing I was completely straight but after reading some erotic fiction I then became curious (only when dressed) and after my first experience, I knew I was Bisexual. |

To me Bi Curious means you are curious to find out what it is like to have some sort of sexual contact with someone of the same gender, once you've had that contact you are no longer curious, I don't understand why people, mostly guys continue to label themselves Bi Curious even though they've had lots of experience. |

This is one of my biggest annoyances with the swinging community.
You're bi-curious if you're CURIOUS about doing something with both genders.
You're bisexual if you WANT to have sex with either gender.
End of.
Orally bi doesn't fucking exist. If you like to suck a dick and you're a guy, then you're bisexual and you just haven't had sex with a guy yet. Or you might never. Whatever. You're still bisexual.
I would never in a million years go near a guy who was orally Bi because he's a pretentious twat who can't be honest with himself.
I get that there's this weird stigma around being a Bi guy in swinging but a LOT of people do find a bi guy completely attractive (me being one of them!).
If you're Bi, then fucking own it. Don't hide yourself to please everyone else.
Rant over. |

To be fair though, it's not as clear cut as that, some people will only do oral with someone of the same gender with no real attraction outside that act, at the other end there are people like me who are physically attracted to people of the same gender. I think if someone say's they are orally Bi, whilst it may sound a little clumsy, at least it's clear what they will and won't do. |

Yeah and I get that. I look at it from an LGBTQ point of view. People have worked so hard and for so long to be accepted for who they are.
You can't pick and choose your sexuality.
I wanna say that you can't make up labels either but everytime I go to Pride there are new ones I have no clue about.
It's cool. People should be who they wanna be, but it just pisses me off as someone who is genuinely bi. Xx |

I have never been curious about wanting to be with another woman,it does absolutely nothing for me and i know I don't need to try it to know that.
Bi curious to me means that you are interested in sex with the same gender ,Bi sexual that you have experimented and like it.

I was never curious about being with men, I always knew, even my parents thought I was gay or in their speak, 'one of those queer types' (it was the early 80s) |

I’ve seen a profile where a guy is receiving oral from another guy in one pic and returning the favour with the same guy, but yet he classes himself as Bi-Curious?
Like an earlier poster said, if you’re Bi, own it and be proud of who you are.
If people don’t wanna meet you due to their preconceived ideas on bisexual people then so be it. |

I agree with most of what you said except the orally bi bit. Not all men who have sex with men like anal sex either way, I have met a few gay men that only like oral. |

I’m orally bi... I enjoy cock play but don’t fancy men in the sense that I’d want to fuck or kiss one. Bisexuality is not a binary ‘thing’ - it’s different for everyone. |

This is never a straight forward conversation as it all.depends what people think sexuality is about.
Surprisingly Sexuality is not about who you have sex with. Sexuality is about your sexual feelings, thoughts, attractions and behaviours towards other people.
You can find other people physically, sexually or emotionally attractive, and all those things are a part of your sexuality.
Sexuality is diverse and personal, and it is an important part of who you are.
It's also.not as simply as straight bi or gay. Alfred Kinsey in the late 40/50 developed a sliding scale of sexuality and suggested that someone would be somewhere along that scale.
The premise is that at different times in someones life they could move around the scale.

Or here's a better idea: why label it in the first place?
Just enjoy what you want to enjoy, don't label it, don't listen to other people's opinions, just enjoy what you enjoy |

In the real world I agree, I'm one of those who answers 'Prefer not to say' on those forms that ask the question and also when the likes of the CAB do the equalities survey at the end of a consultation, I don't answer 'prefer not to say' because I'm ashamed or even bothered that people know I'm not straight, I answer because it's none of their business and shouldn't make any difference in the 21st century.
However, if the Fab world where people are meeting for sex or potentially meeting for sex knowing someone's sexuality is pretty important. |

Due to limited labels on the site, I think alot of guys label themselves as bicurious as a way of saying they are on the straighter end of the spectrum.
I am orally bi in mmf, but have no attraction to men, don't meet men for man to man fun or engage in anal.
Happy fabbing |
