Surely it's just their way of saying how good the person is. Lighten up!

Well its the person giving the verifications choice what to put in it and the recipient if they should display it or not. I would guess its to put off certain types and your dislike would confirm its working. |

We would be flattered if someone stated that they wanted to keep us to themselves.
We see that on verifications, and just take it light hearted, and assume all had a good time. |

If you say in a veri you would kinda like to keep them to yourself it's a compliment to that person. It's the receivers choice whether to share that veri or keeps it private. I've only once sent one like it and it's still private between us. |

It’s called blowing smoke up peoples arses. The amount of times I’ve read a friends veri and sent them a message saying “sounds like you had a good time last night”. To be sent the reply “I shan’t be seeing him again”. Always read between the lines. Lol. |

I don't see it as aggressive. The only thing that concerns me, it that the writer may have strong feelings for the other person which may not be reciprocated. Or that the writer might genuinely mean this and become a bit nasty if I were to meet the other person and we got on really well. I'm not keen on being stalked or similar! |

Depends how much you know of the person leaving the verification.
Some it's all lighthearted fun, others you know they are trying to mark their territory. So I'd say it's 50/50 if you don't know the verifier
It may be a swinging site but there's a lot of people on here with monogamous mentality and jealousy.

You don't have to even meet someone for that to happen tbf, talking is enough for most that would go that way... And if I thought it was meant that way, in a veri, it wouldn't be displayed and contact would be cut.
I have only written it once and after a first meet, we have now been FWBs for the last 3 years... But I find it a huge turn on when he plays with others, so no stalkery weirdness from me  |

Aggressive may be a mundane very, or one with a qualified positivity, so that others are less interested, the recipient doesn't get too who inflated etc. Or they don't give one.
I don't see these as anything but cliches, humour that's been repeated many times but not tedious like 'i don't bite unless you ask me to'  |

Lots of people decide when to meet at different stages some don't get to know a person can be 3 messages at most one being a meeting point.
Doubt anyone would find out much about them in that time.
Others message for varying periods before a social, so they don't get to the sex bit for a while. Even then you probably wouldn't know till after when they start messaging people who veris after them being quite offensive.
It's a random world and anything can happen. So obviously will always depend on the individual.
It's fair enough to say people who frequent the chatrooms it's easier to see who they get possessive over or if they don't get possessive at all. |

Example....... I had a average time couldn’t care less about her , I came that's all that mattered, she turned up ok 33 minutes late but wouldn’t meet again, lovely woman though don't mess her about or else that sort of thing? |

Hmmmm maybe I should have titled the thread "possesive verifications",
I understand that some are very much tounge in cheek, but the jury appear to be 50/50 on the intent behind the veris I'm talking about.

Telling me I shouldnt let a guy touch me or kiss me telling me that it would upset him and make him angry!
Pft I don't need that shit my body my choices. He was told straight up who I am and my playmates. He has no reason to get uppity over it when he accepted it. I'm no one's property.

We're talking about displayed verifications and the type of verifications spoken about here are clearly described by the op. if a veri was described in the way you've described no one would display such or if they felt that type of veri was serious or threatening again why would anyone display it? When your profile is not hidden do you show the veris from those disgraceful guys threatening you? And they should also be reported if not done so already. |

My profile is hidden due to not planning on meeting at the moment.
But I've had them veri on my old account. I've reblocked and moved on.
I wouldn't display their possessive veris and I certainly won't see them again.
To report there needs to be evidence and when conversations aren't on fab well all a person can do is block.
People will display what ever veris they choose it's their profile. I'd assume if they found the person to be aggressive possessive as such it wouldn't last long due to being blocked.
Some just never talk to them again and so verifications remain.

Only people I can see showing the recorded veri would be those with one veri or those interested in numbers and I would put money on it being displayed in the verification summary only. Those comments the op describes: I'm keeping this one to myself" and "back off guys she/he's all mine" again I stand by what I say, it's tongue in cheek and overwhelmingly put in a humorous way. |

Though I do know of a lady who would get in touch with a certain gentleman whenever he displayed a new veri even if it was a social. She definitely had some insecurities so not sure this is the right place for her but at least the man got a bit extra attention after meets social or otherwise!  |
