I must admit since changing to memory foam the mattress is a lot less bouncy and thus sex in certain positions and maintaining good rythem is a lot more physical effort. Personally I'm going back to a quality sprung mattress next time around.

I've only played on memory foam mattresses a few times, and when supporting my own weight it's been quite painful on my wrists...

....to the extent that I've had to change positions because my hands have 'sunk' into the foam, as it doesn't provide much support when pressure's being applied to a small area, unlike spring matresses...
