How would you tell that the account is fake?
For me, if anyone avoiding to verifying on cam is a fake account or something to hide. (Except people who has plenty of verifications from people who are also well verified? |

If the profile has photos, some very simple checks of those can uncover most fakes easily.
The most simple thing to check for is light switches and power socket outlets.
Here in the Uk, light switches are always square and distinctive. In the USA (where most of the fake photo sets come from) they are upright and rectangular, often with small toggle type swiches.
The same goes for socket outlets - Uk are always either square or rectangular left to right, with flat plugs.
Europe plugs are generally round, and USA ones are generally arranged like the light switches rectangular but up and down.
Looking at all non-Uk plugs, the power cord itself will exit horizontally, whereas Uk will almost always come vertically from the bottom of the plug.
Next thing is the inevitable ‘bathroom mirror shot’ - look at the taps.... for some reason American taps on the sinks and the bath all look as if they were designed in 1920 - massive levers, big mixers etc - take a look and you will see what I mean!
Brands are the other giveaway - lots of Tide boxes, or Hersheys bags of chocolates get the alarm bells ringing, as do the mammoth bottles of Gatorade surrounded by those horrible USA red plastic cups!
Car photos are always easy to spot fakes or stolen pics, - the steering wheel is on the other side, or a foreign station displayed on the radio screen.
Sorry to be kinda geeky on this, but I think the more we can get rid of on here, the happier it will be...
Any other questions, fee free to DM me - I’m genuine, I promise xxxx |
