Is there ANY hope for chubby guys?

Lots of guys effusing about large ladies but no ladies doing the same about big guys.
I check out the profiles of ladies who catch my eye (and many more besides). In their veris, i havent seen any chubby guys. There are a LOT of guys my age in great shape on tbose veris - none in my shape. |

My honest opinion ...
Fat guys don't do well with a lot of women
The ones that do tend to be taller, younger and not married
ALL those things will go against you
If you lost weight and came back in another six months, do you think you would fair any better?
I'm not trying to be mean, just realistic
As a fellow short arsed, aging chunk, I feel your frustration, but I do recognise it is a combination of factors that preclude me from meets, not just because I like a pie |

OP, I don't think your lack of success on here has anything (or much) to do with your size. I would be looking for reasons elsewhere. You are one of many, many men on here, have no public pics, have to be discreet so that's already two things against you. Why would a woman choose you instead of another guy from thousands available? Is your profile showing you from the best possible angle? |

You have a point! However, im not sure i have a best angle! I naively thought honesty was the best policy but its getting me nowhere. But you cant argue with the stats 25 looks and no messages. Ill look at changing my profile first then losing weight - you never know, might start getting noticed at home then! |

Yeah - this is my take on it too. I am married and have always been tbis size so it must have been the personality that attracted her rather than the looks (esp as shes been trying to get me to lose weight for years). Fat guys per se dont have much of a following |

Here’s a mad idea which I’m sure we will be getting some abuse for. Have you thought about getting yourself into better shape? It may improve your sex life but it will improve your normal life. |

It's definately a size thing and more to do with curvy women having an ego the same size as their appetite in a lot of cases.
I'm 6'2" and a 36" waist and have been called "overweight" many times by over weight women who are looking for muscles and a six pack.
Don't let it bother you, If you're not for them just move on to the next or better still, just try a club. |

Im not sure it’s your size limiting you. You’re married, have no pics, have one veri that looks fake, and have that stupid Facebook bs on your profile. Loads of chubby guys do okay here so maybe you need to lay the blame at another door. |

As a chubby/big guy i do ok on here but its like alot of other people have said u need to have a decent profile and some pics to get replies and just dont expect a reply from everyone, i have met and talked to plenty of women that prefer a bigger guy |

I'm a fat guy, in the process of losing weight though (nearly 3 stone in just under 8 weeks).
Since turning fat a couple of years ago I've found it difficult to date, but a lot of that is down to the confidence I've had in myself. |

To answer your question of whether there’s any hope for chubby guys - yes there is.
However! Some women won’t like your marital status.
Some won’t like your lack of pictures.
Some won’t like how your profile is written.
Some won’t like your lack of veris.
And yes, some won’t like your body shape.
What you need to do is make the most of what you’ve got, change what you can change today (not your weight) and get out there with a positive attitude, making yourself the kind of person that women want to meet.
Because there are plenty of blokes who aren’t married and aren’t overweight who don’t get meets either.

The odds are stacked against you, I am afraid. It seems that on this site, for the most part, women are after guys who can it gym it five times a week because they either have the money or they don't have health issues that stop them from doing exercise. As far as this site alone goes, I wouldn't put hope in it getting you anywhere. Try making friends with some people and going to events. You might have a bit more luck there. Will take a bit of time, so don't expect anything on your first couple of visits. But you're more likely to find someone interested in you there |
