....to lunchtime quickies?
Is it just me or does nobody have the time, inclination or the energy anymore? From my student days when it was common practice between lectures (and of course fond memories of traditional behind the bike sheds fumbling at school!) through frantic quick drives home on lunchbreaks to relieve the monotony of mundane jobs, naughty meets with co-workers in secluded offices and car parks and in more recent years the odd quick 'was meant to be a social but hey...' meet via various sites.
Maybe it's the pressures of work, reduced lunchbreaks, CCTV in the workplace or purely the fact that work takes more out of us both mentally and physically these days and we just don't have the energy!
Maybe we should lobby our MP's and bosses for longer lunches or adopt the 'siesta' attitude of some of our European brethren? Would certainly make the days more interesting?

Perfect example! Used to do a very similar thing when I worked in just one location - sadly all over the bloody place now which makes it nigh on impossible!
Someone did mention to me the other day that maybe admin should add a 'meet now!' icon, rather than just a meet today - for those that like spontaneity as well as planned meets.
Not convinced it wouldn't be as frustrating as it was beneficial - especially if you were nowhere near said 'meet now' poster - but hey - guess it's a novel idea!!  |

I love meeting Master for lunch time fun .. its great.. and often if we cant play we will get someone over so he can watch me play..
Sadly day times are not possible at the moment.. but Ohhhhh soon I hope
