My guess is also this - saves them getting a 2d/ 3rd/ 4th refusal. Have seen profiles where they say they'll do this or ask for the other party to do it so they won't bother them again. |

lol - we used to block people that we'd chatted to then decided not to meet, saves going through the whole rigmarole again if you forget - we tend to add notes now, would get pissed of just because some (stranger) blocked us! Z |

Personally I think he wanted you to fall apart weeping that you had been blocked
Lots of people do block after a no thanks to stop them contacting again but most would'nt tell you like that unless he wanted to make an impact,

if you dont want to meet someone why would it bother you if your blocked or not?
or more to the point if you have already sent a thanks but no thanks message why would you go to mail them again to know your blocked?  |

well i have to be honest if i mailed someone and i got a no thanks reply i wouldnt block them as i see no need to block someone just because they didnt want to meet me
But all because i wouldnt i dont think its wrong other do
Its upto them what they want to do and it wouldnt bother me if someone i didnt want to meet blocked me, infact i wouldnt even know if they had as i wouldnt se going back to look at their profile or mailing them |

could be so they dont message you again by accident ? say a few months down the line you change your username of your main pic is changed and they think its someone else , you get a message and then oh dear that guy again so you end up blocking him . |

I block people after I say thanks but not for me.. and I have also been blocked..
it just saves messaging the same person later on.
It certainly doesnt bother me.. not even when they do it because they do a snipe attack then block.. well except that it prevents me getting the last word in.
