Once again I have fallen prey to picture hunters.
Got chatting to a very nice lady who was part of a couple and exchanged a few messages.
She then suggested we become friends so I sent a request.
Less than 30 minutes after she accepted, she disappeared.
She blocked me I guess.
So the moral of the story is to not have pics which can only be seen by friends.
Simples!

When I say picture hunters I mean people who for what ever reason collect pictures. I have seen a rise in the number of people on FAB who instigate conversations then send friends requests. Once accepted they then block you after a few minutes.
After I removed my friend pics, this stopped and I now only chat with people who are genuinely interested.
I then added some friends pics and the whole sequence started again.
So now I have removed them again,

Other than being time wasting, it does not worry me that some people are picture hunting.
My pics are in the public domain and people can keep them or even re-post them elsewhere, with the proviso they say from where they came and don't claim them to be their own.
Any friends only pics I have on various sites are still pics that I don't mind being in the public domain.
If there are pics you want to keep private, then don't put them on sites like this! |

I think a lot of people think your private pictures are going to be more explicit than your public ones. We get loads of friends requests but rarely accept unless we have a meet arranged with the person. |

I don't disagree with you at all, none of my pics being on public display are an issue for me.
I just find it fascinating the way people interact with each other,

If that's the case then they must be bitterly disappointed in mine...
Maybe that's why they block me
