Blocked for not replying quickly enough?

That’s a new one on me.
It never ceases to amaze me how aggressive and needy a minority of people can be on here. Most of us do have a life outside Fab.
I can only imagine what the single ladies must go through, but you just have to chalk these moments up as a lucky escape.

It’s not a bloke thing.
I’m a bi cur woman, I was blocked by a couple before I had time to reply. I picked up their messages during my work day, by the time I got chance to reply I’d been blocked. It was a few hours as I had to finish work, get home, feed the hordes etc
Don’t know if it was because I took too long or if they just changed their mind or got a better offer.. |

Haha I had this from a prolific forum poster. He messaged me, I read it quickly but was on the way out so marked it as unread to come back to. When I did, he'd messaged me with a kind of 'fine, be like that' approach and blocked me. Funny! |

Yep, I've had that. As banal as this sounds I told her that I was unloading the tumble dryer, ironing etc (it was a Sunday!).
The torrent of verbal abuse was unnerving....followed by a Block.
And the irony being that SHE had contacted me. |

As said above, blocking is a tool used for whatever reason the blocker wishes.
I sent a new girl a message yesterday, she had joined the day before and filled out a proper profile and put pics up. So messaged saying welcome to the site, your pics are lovely as is your bio so I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun on Fab. I'm a local who would like to get a chat with you once you've got through the hundreds of messages that I hear you will most likely get lol get in touch, if you like
Read and blocked lol

There are some very flippant people on this site I’ve noticed, if you don’t message back fast enough or act exactly how they want, it’s like you’ve just kicked their dog |

I had one couple block me because I deleted some emails from them. We exchanged about 15 messages. I didn't see the need to keep them all so I just kept one. Apparently according to this couple deleting email means you are a timewaster.
I got en mails that said we see you have deleted our email. Timewaster. You are blocked. |

I dont have childcare for the next month resulted in me being called a timewaster and blocked.
Tonight i refused to send a face pick to a guy that didnt even show one photo of himself. He called me rude and then blocked me.
To be honest i am happy it happens. They show me early on what arses they are so my time isnt wasted. |

Ha! Happened here too. Was sixty foot up in a crane when I (he) looked at the phone, a hotlister too so chances of a meet were good we thought so waited till break to reply properly. Blocked and told we were time wasters for looking and but not replying, a few expletives for good measure too.  |

Agreed have to get it overridden easy enough to do...though in some places you have to turn WiFi off to view....I have to at work..  |

with bt all adult content and parental controls are off,can access other sites on 4g |
