It gets easier, but I gather it's still hard.
General advice: positive presence on the site, good profile selling yourself. A variety of public picture types (not your face if you don't want to and not just cock/ action shots).
Clubs: most of the time anyone can go but look at prices to decide if it's worth it for you.
Socials: you can put your name down, who is allowed to attend depends on the organisers. |

With many (most?) clubs you can't just turn up: you need to contact them and get yourself on the guest list. But that's pretty easy.
When I joined the club that I go to, it was "hello, my name is DJohn, I'm new, I'd like to come along tonight", "OK, you're on the list, here's how to find us, here's where to park, see you tonight".
Socials are just as easy, but it might take longer to get to one. They'll often have a limit on the number of single men allowed, so don't leave it to the last minute. Keep an eye on the forum and send a mail to the organisers when you see one near you.
Whichever you go to, talk with people, be nice, don't be pushy. Ask if they're on fab, say you're new here, and would they mind giving you a verification? |
